Hk P30 or Sig p239, help me decide.

My two finalist are the Sig p239 9mm and the HK p30 in 9mm. Im looking for the best all-around firearm. Sig is heavy with limited capacity, but looks, shots, fills great. Also seems to be undestrucable. HK has 15 round mags, fills perfect in hand, and I have never heard of issues with them but is larger than the Sig and every thing about it is pricy. Both can be had from a friend for very resonable price.

I had a P30 that I sold to buy something else. It was a great gun and I would buy another.

I have never shot the 239, so I can't really do a comparison. But I would look at the 226/228/229 as more of an apples to apples comparison.

I think Im leaning toward the SIg. Its the tactical version with night sights, threaded barrel, and SRT trigger which I loved.

Never shot either but I own many hk's and all have been top notch. Can't say the same about the sigs I have owned.

I own both. It depends on what you are looking for. The 239 is way easier to conceal since it is a single stack but you are looking at half the capacity. 239 mags are a lot easier to procure right now since they are not considered hi-cap. As far as accuracy goes, the 239 is more accurate. The 239 I have is the 40/357 version while the P30 is a V3 9.

My 239 sas gen 2 is my favorite gun. Easy to conceal in a nice crossbreed supertuck and feels like a full size sig.
