      Wreaths Across America

Each year over Christmas, wreaths are placed on the graves of veterans at national cemeteries. These wreaths are not paid for by the U.S. government but rather by private citizens who care enough to donate not only their time but also their money to purchase these wreaths. Indiana has one active...

I haven't seen it anywhere, but does SB229 extend to colleges, and universities, or just K-12 ?

      Nifty Tour of Schroeder Bauman

I took advantage ot SB's willingness to allow visitors, and went thru the facility a couple of weeks ago. Spartan, no-frills, but very detail-orientated, and efficient. My SB 1911 should be finished by the end of this week.

      Veterans Affairs Thread

I've caught and responded to most of the inquiries in this thread. If I missed yours, I apologies, but I'm glad you were able to get what you needed. Thanks for your service. :patriot:

      Veterans Affairs Thread

Apologies. I tend to react to what I'm presented with, and it's not always the best way to go. Well sir, now I"m trying to figure out if you're cycling on your meds, or if you just had a bad day yesterday. I hope you're able to settle down a bit. The "system" rarely suits everyone, and that's...

      Veterans Affairs Thread

Boo hoo is correct. I make no excuses. I started this thread in an effort to assist Veterans. I've tried to do that. I don't pass out kleenex, or crying towels, or make excuses where there are none. As far as I'm concerned you can shove your $6 and pack it deep. Your attitude casts a shadow over...

      Veterans Affairs Thread

Many Veterans don't get travel pay at all. I doubt you could get any civilian doctor to pay you ANYTHING to show up for an appointment. Reimbursement of Travel Costs Eligible Veterans may be provided mileage reimbursement or, when medically indicated, special mode transport (e.g. wheelchair...

      Calling Marines and others "Soldiers"

...and that's as it should be. Your goals and aspirations belong only to you. The Corps does not mourn the absence of those who chose to join other services. You're no exception. Thanks for your service. Semper Fidelis :patriot:

I would submit that you appear to be, or should have been taught that you are/were a Marine first..... then a Captain, or sir. :patriot:

It tends to be common practice to fault an animal for natural behavior, when the situation could have been easily prevented by a little parental, or animal-owner awareness. Sad commentary on accountability, not to mention lack of common sense.

Accurate or ignorant... personal preference... :D
