Trinidad is the one in Colorado isn't it? The "NRA approved" place. They are the one whose curriculum I looked through and was really NOT impressed at the very generalized nature of the curriculum. They seemed to be about the most legit of their recommended 4 and so I didn't look into any others after that. I wanted to apprentice under my uncle when I was younger but by the time I was old enough he retired.

The certs are crap, I wish there was a gunsmithing college, there are some schools that put out gunsmithing certs, but I've looked at the curriculum and it's very minimal studies for what someone should consider a "gunsmith". when I know more as a hobbyist gunsmith, nephew of a gunsmith, and industrial work than what a "college" is offering in a gunsmithing curriculum, there's a problem lol, self-taught/experience taught gunsmiths will always get my money when I have things I can't do myself

I got the chance to talk to him today. He has a spare trolling motor. But it is the foot control kind, although he said it could be converted. But it is a 24 volt. Which 2 batteries would be awful heavy, you'd be better off with a 12 volt.
