That said went to one of the well stocked LGS near where my brother lives and he was looking at the newer Scorpion 3 plus (?)

Anyone got the low down on these? Improvements since previous version etc?

    So quiet in here today.
Keeping you and your family in my prayers @WebSnyper
    Thanks. Appreciate all the thoughts.

Just getting on a plane to head back with my daughter. My wife is staying a few more days and driving back (my back wasn't going to easily handle that drive back). Her best friend who flew down with me will be driving back with her.

I was able to get to the range yesterday afternoon. I was shooting 3 1911s, and a CZ 75B Compact. After shooting handguns, I spent a bit of time shooting a Canon while I was there.

@Leadeye , do yo have any experience with a Taurus c-45? It’s a Colt Lightning copy in .45 Colt. Discontinued about 2010. They retailed for about $750 in 2010.

    Here's what I'm talking about

Of course Allen has me thinking about a suppressor to go with this if I go that direction. Never really read much on them as I hadn't been interested in NFA before, but with some of these e-files coming back so quick, I might be.

What are some good qualities to look for in a can? Is user serviceable a thing? What are some recommendations and why for a specific can and what's the ballpark $ on these things?

Anyone running a suppressed Scorpion or the like? I assume these blow back guns run OK with them? Any accessories I have to use to get it to attach /run? Would you get the 4.2" barrel or the 7.8" if you "might" suppress it? I'm generally seeing the 7.8" for less $$$

I have always been hesitant to get a suppressor due to the cost, tax stamp, etc but have been thinking about it more especially for my nightstand pistol. Of course everyone (well almost) says get a 22 as my first one because they are too much fun. Also have been considering a PCC for HD as a bit more practicable than a 223, less likely to escape my house.

Now all I need to do is rob a bank/win the lottery/sell my convertible, :dunno:

I was thinking of him when I posted as well.

Also, anyone setup an NFA trust? I've seen that Marc Halata is the guy if one wants to set one up. Was just wondering how that affects filing and how tough it is to add people and items to the trust. Can people be easily added later after the Trust is created? I need to check out Halata's website.

Edit: I sent Halata a message via his website with some questions.

Same here on the cost, especially when thinking about dropping the $$ on a host. Would probably get the gun then wait a bit for suppressor, but the quicker efile returns has me thinking when I disregarded suppressors in the past.

Been looking at selling my P-07 and picking up one with a threaded barrel, or just picking up a P10C optics ready, suppressor ready while they are cheap.Would love a P01 with threaded barrel but they are currently going for big $$$. Last I looked p10c was about $450 new to my door! Wanting to fondle and maybe shoot one soon. The Canick tactical may also be on that list.
