I had to find my step son today face down in his room, the demons beat him into submission, we think it was drugs, I had my fights with him, but never did I want this… our hearts are broken, please pray for my family
I'm so sorry. Lost both of DoggyMama's daughters to the same. You are in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear this.

I learned at our CPR recertification for work that there is a vending machine at the old Parkview hospital in Fort Wayne that dispenes narca. Kits at no charge. Sad that there is such a need for this, but they also talked to us about the Fentanyl and how it can affect people who encounter it on cash or other contact with it that has nothing to do with drug use.

Very sorry to hear of your loss, @MrSmitty

Per the recommendation earlier in this thread, I was able to get Narcan from the vending machine at Eskenazi on W. 38th St.

Thanks for the reminder about storage and expiration, @pitbulld45

    This is true.

I carry two with me in my truck and my wife has two in her classroom.

On a side note, when admin found out my wife had Narcan in her classroom, they were not too happy about it. However, the Resource Officer was grateful and told her to hang on to them.

What is the personal liability for administering a medication to someone who happens to die (for whatever reason - underlying medical condition, too much drugs, expired narcan, etc.)?

Will the family of the person with the addiction thank you for your attempt to be an angel and help?
