100% agree. Those kids are idiots. But Lucas is still no better. With his past history he needs to use discretion on what he does. He should have know anythi g he says to groups like that will be blown out of proportion. Why give them the ammo? He could have said you walk and stand by countless people with a weapon everyday and you'd never know. I am probably just more biased against him admittedly cause of his love of raising taxes doing nothing to stop the governor on shut downs and talking down to his constituents. I wa some before the lines got redrawn. And way he'd respond if he even bothered to was terrible.
One man's "don't give them the ammo" is another man's "don't throw me into that brier patch". :dunno:

I am all for these people stepping on rakes.

So repugnant is the approach we need to take to maintain and advance the 2A?
That's a straw man. There's nothing "repugnant" about Lucas's actions here. The analogy here is one in which 2A supporters refuse to hide and cower, and instead change the narrative by living openly and boldly in the exercise of rights.

Agreed, but does this help us with the 2A or hurt our cause?

Obviously, the MSM will use their anti-gun bend to do as they do. Will we come out on top as the bigger person here though? The voice of reason?

Do we win with this encounter or lose ground from it?
We will never come out on top with regards to media coverage. It doesn’t matter what it is he or us do, there will always be an anti spin added to it. He could have taken them all out for ice cream on his dime and agreed with anything they said and he’d still be slammed.

No, even though Big Red is back, **** these ****ing ****ers right in the ***

The general assembly is exempt. Just them apparently. That's another annoying thing they do. Putting themselves above the common man like when they exempted themselves from. The governors mask mandate
This right here. I just went on a rant in the office over this.

I'm still cranky over the parking garages being included in the prohibited places.

OK, I'll try to address a few things.

    First off, DAMNIT JIM!!

    This jumps around a bit:

Second, not sure I could communicate with teenage antis. My youngest is 27, and a gun owner.

Would I have tried? Yes and I'm sure Guy would've too. Would the Generation Whatever teenager who was there because a handful of elected officials/staff will be able to carry firearms is scary, have been triggered by the large bald man or the not as large man with a distinguished grey beard and 2A-related polo? I have no doubt.

Did I want to speak to the guy at Get Go with the sweatpants-Mexican carry and a stendo? Yes. Did I? No.

Should law-abiding Hoosiers be able to carry at the Statehouse? Oh hellz yes! It's embarrassing that Kentuckians can do that and we can't.

I know the big picture behind the SB 14 which affects only the Secretary of State/Atty General/Treasurer. I'm not onboard with "rules for thee, but not for me." Then again, I was good with moving the sticks on the way to ConC.

    That was a bit rambling...
