I hope the Sigs are more reliable than that leaky ceiling
It's not leaky my friend, got new metal 10 yrs ago. That shop was built over 100 years ago.
In 40 years of carrying a Sig, I've yet to have one fail me.
And they don't require new triggers, slides, sights, connectors and so on to be reliable.
    Out of the box reliability...

    Ever built an AR?
Nope, I have 3 INGO empty lowers still sitting on a shelf along with a few new Remington 700 actions doing nothing.

I buy Complete Colts & Rock Rivers and my son's shoot BCM's. So with BCM you buy a lower and then a upper separately.
I believe the only parts that I have changed in the past 25 years will be with the gen 3 Glock 19C and 23C pistols that had horrible triggers and I changes to 3 1/2 lb disconnects. It's truly not a road I tend to travel.

One more thing to add about the SIG P320 after having shot it some this morning.

There is no aspect of this pistol that ANNOYS me, which is a BIG plus. Here is a list of issues/ annoyances I have found with other pistols:

    GLOCK (all gens)- GLOCK knuckle
GLOCK (Gen 5)- Slide lock on the right side gets in the way (I am a lefty)
Walther PPQ- Long slide lock on right side gets in the way (Same with HK P30)
HK P30- Trigger finger irritation from the trench in the trigger guard
Shadow Systems- Trigger finger irritation with the standard trigger
Smith M&P- Strange beavertail makes it hard to get high into the grip. 2.0 stippling is too rough.

    You get the idea.

The SIG P320 just works without any of these issues.

Special Forces pulls new pistols from service after soldier injured in misfire

"The military would not say how the misfire happened, whether the weapon was dropped or went off in the holster, as has been documented in U.S. court records."

There have been ZERO documented cases where the P320 just "went off" without some improper actions taken by the user, often during re-holstering the weapon. SIG is unable to replicate these "unexplained discharges" as has everyone else who has tried. And finally, what does one expect from the CANADIANS? Under Justin Castro, they haven't done ANYTHING that makes any sense!

Lefty here too, and I do like the controls on the 320 which makes it one of the reasons I am using them for IDPA, but what do you think righties do on all of the guns?

How about an update. Would you like an update?

"The investigation concluded the primary probable cause of the incident was due to a partial depression of the trigger by a foreign object combined with simultaneous movement of the slide against the pistol frame that then allowed a round to be fired whilst the pistol was still holstered," said a summary of the investigation, released to CBC News today."

Oh look. Canada's armed forces have now adopted the P320. That's weird, since they are well known to eat children and kill puppies without anyone touching them.
