Daughter had a concert today at Portage high school. 1 of 6 flutist selected from 25 schools. Gotta say this was the best concert yet. Songs were fun and upbeat.

She practiced really hard for this on top of learning new songs for the Veterans concert she did last week and working on songs for the upcoming Christmas concert.

Just yesterday alone she spent 8+ hours at Portage high school doing rehearsals for this one with the other 95 students selected from the region.

She really loves playing the flute and that definitely made it easier for me to drop almost $2500 on a new, upgraded flute last week

Aurelios afterwards for some pizza, being as they're right next door to the high school.

I'd eat a Burger King whopper before a schoops burger :stickpoke: I do like schoops chicken cordon blu sandwich though.

I had a steak and shake Burger a few months back on 41 in Schererville/ Highland, just because I was right there, and it was pretty darn good. Crispy fries too, and a decent chocolate shake.

Iirc schoops chicken is about as fake as it gets even with the fake grill marks.. Unless it's changed..?
The Cordon blu is a grilled boneless chicken breast with ham n Swiss. Definitely not that processed compressed crap some places call chicken. It's been a few years though.

Daughter use to love Schoops. That's what she'd always pick for her good report card dinner. The one in Portage got to be very unclean however. Sticky floors and tables. Then it shut down for awhile. Haven't been back in probably 5 years. I liked there royal burger. Double cheeseburger with egg and bacon. Always liked their shoestring fries

I like schoops but LOVE miner Dunn...

I unfortunately only have schoops maybe 2x a year and miner Dunn it's been about 5 years.

But years ago I got a grilled chicken at schoops and it was a perfect round patty with fake grille marks. Lol

No hello kitty death star ticket 4 u
Toss me off. Schoops burgers are nasty and definitely waaa2 overpriced. Nit to mention the overcooked crispy edges.

Weren't you just complaining about dried out burgers yesterday. Schoops is the definition of a dried out burger

I'm glad you sprung for a good one.
I played flute in high school (also in college for a minute). Also played piccolo in marching band for a couple of years. I still have both of them. Haven't touched them in over 40 years.
