...I don't think Israel is intending a trucks and gas chambers genocide in Gaza, but unfortunately the reality of that overpopulated and enclosed space is that vast numbers of people will die in a full scale ground campaign. It's Fallujah, with 3 million people who can't evacuate first. I honestly question the IDF's ability to wage such a fight. 10% of Gazans taking up arms is 300,000 fighters.

But they can evacuate. Israel doesn't intend to wage an urban ground war with 2 million people.

Their game plan is to squeeze the place hard, while leaving the exit door to Egypt open. They bomb just hard enough to keep the cattle moving, while hurting the least number of innocents practicable. Hopefully everybody just leaves, and you simply don't let anyone back in, or make it very hard to do so.

If the result of the coming campaign is that Egypt ends up with 1.5 million "Palestinians" on their hands...problem solved. Once you get a good portion of the innocents out of the way, the remaining problems are easier to deal with.

Reminder, Gaza doesn't have shelters or an iron dome and to please pray for them. May peace prevail in the region and move us towards a moral awakening to care about the human suffering we are seeing. Palestinians are human beings who have been besieged and are deserving of protection from the international community.

Maybe they should blame their leaders, that received money to improve life there, and used it on weapons to attack, instead of food/energy/safety/etc.

Why not be mad at the leaders that launched an offensive, knowing that they will lose, and there will be repercussions, cycle over and over.

I bring up genocide because it is the islamist’s stated goal...it’s what the islamists hope to accomplish.

Israel has to strike a balance…to respond violently enough to keep the Islamists at arm‘s length (the farthest they will ever realistically be) without escalating the conflict to a fight to the last man.

Peace with Islam will be negotiated, if it is to happen at all…Israel cannot win a fight against Islam to the last man.

You and I both know they won't end up in Egypt. They'll end up in Europe and the US.

We have tried the 2 state solution for decades. They have proven it doesnt work. Saturday is a prime example that it doesnt work. Time to try something else.

I can remember when Hillary C. was one of the first western politicians to come out publicly on the record for the avant-garde, esoteric (at the time) two-state solution.

It's really is difficult to imagine the Gaza Strip still existing at the end of this. My understanding is that the group we call Palestinians are ethnically Jordanian renamed for political purposes.

West Bank are Jordanians, Gaza strip are Egyptians. At least when originally annexed from my understanding. Both are now known as Palestine/Palestinians.

I imagine some of these types were at the Israeli Woodstock when it was attacked.
It's unfortunate that they learn a life lesson that took their lives. Very sad, and horrible way to be brought to their senses.
