Helped set up the track for the Pinewood Derby. Also got volunteered to work in the pit area, so not many pictures were taken by me. There were over 30 cars. My kid got 2nd in his den and his buddy got 1st. I'll take it since I had no clue what we were doing building it.

Why is he doing that with his foot?
Does he need "cookies" in his shoe?
My kid sis would do this until the mom took her to the foot doc and we found out she had an issue with 1 of her feet.

Well, I don't pay taxes for one thing.

    jedi will love this story,......

I've got a piece of property in ffaarrr northern California. One nice day I decided to climb up the hill and survey the property from the powerline that runs along the northern boundary at about 300' elevation over the bar. After a couple of hours of sweaty bushwhacking I made it back to camp,.......and pulled twenty-eight ticks off of myself. Freaked me out. I didn't have a single one penetrate my precious skin but I could feel them crawling all over me for days.
    Oh heck no!

jedi had no idea what ticks were until a 5 years ago when one came with jedi and jedi tried smashing it and it would not die, tried hitting with hammer and nothing! Had to flush down the toilet to make it go away.

    Nope...nope....nope!!!!

U south of us30 can keep them

Sad even the ticks are fleeing northern lake county. If only they could get rid of the rest of the parasites up there.

He just does that every once in a while. Guess it's better than when he stands with on foot on the other scraping or untieing his shoes.

Just let the grass grow. Ticks like the tall grass,......they'll hang out on the tips and snag you as you pass by.

Looks like I won't get any rain. Hope that is the case. Neighbor has a water tank we both use in the back of his woods he was filling last night. Between taking a nap, driving his daughter to the airport at 1:30am, and driving back...whoops. Big old 6' wide section of wooded area was saturated. Today's weather helped.

On another note, the kid crashed at 4:30pm. Time to reset and get back to school week/baseball/art class mode.
