If it makes you feel any better, I just checked out that feedback. Given your real world rep, and the generic neg rep, I'd deal with you in a heartbeat. Your presence outside the classies counteracts that. So dont be afraid of leaving honest feedback. (thats the awesome part of INGO, at least for active members like us)

Though I did find one thing odd. I cant find your neg rep on the transaction. I see another user dinged him, but not you.
I agree. Mr Cat is awesome.

Good communication is the key to good trading.

That said, there should be no "change their mind." :nono:

If a trader isn't serious about committing to their agreement, they should not have agreed at all.

Pictures are required in adds to eliminate "changing minds" at the meetup for the trade. It is a totally differerent situation if the seller misrepresents what they advertised. Negative feedback should go to a seller that misrepresents.

Again, all of these problems can be eliminated by good thorough communication.

Not to reflect poorly on the OP, but I've been trading in the INGO classifieds for many years. I'm not sure I've had three people, "welch" in all of that time? :dunno:
If there's any doubt about what you are buying you can always ask for more detailed pics.. I've had a couple of people ask for more pics even though I had an item listed as LNIB but I understand.. Some folks "LNIB" can just mean still functions as intended without cosmetic considerations. For me LNIB describes something that looks like it did when I bought it. "Used" means there may be cosmetic flaws from being used.

Yep, always ask for more pics if you're unsure.

You may have just stopped all future sales.

IMO, people are allowed to change their minds.
I have to agree with the OP. Yes, people can change their minds, especially if the item turns out to not be as advertised, or if something is discovered during inspection that didn't come up before.

But to tell someone you'll buy something, then just change your mind because you feel like it, how on earth are deals ever meant to materialize if that's how we all roll? If I tell someone I'll sell them something, I immediately commit to turning down all other offers until we either meet, or the deal falls through for some reason. I'm not gonna turn around and say "Never mind, someone else offered me 10 bucks more, so I'm not selling to you anymore." Same thing if I say I'll buy something; unless something materializes that's out of my control, I'm going to go through with it, and not just pull out because I decide I can get it cheaper elsewhere, which is something I should have figured out before committing to buy. The reason is simple; I'm assuming that the seller is affording me the same courtesy of turning down other potential offers since he's agreed to sell it to me, so if I back out on him, then I've cost him not only his time, but also other potential sales.

Changing your mind is great, but if it costs someone else their time, effort, and potentially other opportunities to sell, you've done them dirty in my book.

I'm glad the OP left negative rep for the people that did him dirty, and if I ever happen to use the classified again, that will be useful information so I know who can and can't keep their word.

You could leave neutral feedback since you really aren't out anything. Mildly inconvenienced.

I've only left one neutral in all of my dealings with ingo'ers. No negatives thankfully.

    I mildly disagree ;)

TIME! He’s out the time it took for him to chase them around. If a deal is made, follow through.

I have a feeling times are coming soon when a man’s word will be valued again as it once was, and all the internet flakiness like the OP is experiencing will bite those folks in the behind.

Negative feedback OP. Do it so the rest of us don’t have to make the mistake of dealing with them in the future!
