Is Silver next?

I certainly hope it goes up. Traded an old AR I never took out of the box for $600 worth of silver a couple weeks ago.

Take heart, it's not that big of a drop. I ordered some 2/15 and the cost now is still higher than then.

Just out of curiosity, have any of you purchased metals while traveling abroad? I'd be specifically interested if you got a better deal in Mexico on silver bullion or not.

I've never considered it before, but have some traveling ahead of me in the near future.

Picked up another 10 oz. bar @$238.80 this morning. Spot is flirting with dropping below 21.00.

Yeah, for once I timed it right. The last few times I was online during the morning drop I either missed it or what I was buying went out of stock. They were random new bars so unknown mint but new.

It has been interesting how over the last few weeks the spot price seems to dip around the NY open significantly for 20-30 minutes then recover. Spot on Monument when I bought was $21.02 and is up to $21.09 now. Not getting rich at a $0.07 move but it is satisfying.

For example you can choose to look up what a 1oz bar is going for:

Compare 1 oz Generic Silver Bar or Secondary Market dealer prices

Buy 1 oz Generic Silver Bar or Secondary Market lowest silver price available from trusted and reputable online precious metals dealers

Looks like around $24.38 right now.

The best deals I've found are from local auctions. The catch is that you have to watch out for auction fees. Even so, I've gotten some very good deals.
