Germany's former prime minister Merkel admits publicly to the world the Minsk agreement she helped Ukraine and Russia sign were a ploy,a pseudo truce to buy time to rebuild Ukraine's military to NATO standards and not something that was ever really about long term peace and was never enforced.

Have you considered the possibility that she is retconning? Polishing a turd her 'legacy'

    Could be anywhere
There would not just have to be the tanks...there's a huge logistics trail that follows tanks. They require about 4 hours of maintenance for every hour of operation, a whole logistics infrastructure would need to be transplanted. That and training operators and maintainers. I suppose it could be done with "contractors".

That being said, anything we would send over from the M48A5 on would be relevant on the battlefield there. M60A3's would be a game changer. M-1's any version would be overkill...just the way I like it.

Also, a bit hyperbolic on the implication that sending armor for them to use is the one thing that will start nuclear war.

As far as I know, the US is not sending any "tanks" to the Ukraine. We are sending ~ a battalion (50) Bradley M-2 Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs). France is sending some armored cars, Germany is sending some Marder IFVs.

I've heard a rumor that FInland and Germany are sending some Leopard 2 Main Battle Tanks (MBTs) but I haven't checked the sources yet.

As pointed out above, the logistics effort (supply, repair and maintenance) will be pretty tremendous for these vehicles. As will training the troops to actually drive and fight them. Then there's doctrinal training to make them really effective as part of a combined arms force with infantry, artillery and air support.

Yep, the Bradley. Something the Russians will learn to dread.

The M2/M3 Bradley claimed more Iraqi tanks destroyed in the two wars then even the mighty M1 Abrams. Why? Because it totes a box on top of its turret that fires TOW missiles. One of the most effective anti tank missiles on the battlefield. Its range is 4500meters.

The gun found on most tanks on the battlefield in Ukraine is the 2A46 125 mm gun. When firing conventional rounds its range is 3000 meters. (HE is 4000meters, and the ATGM missile fired out of the barrel has been rarely seen recently)

Honestly, I think it will have as much impact as Himars does.

Not many pattons around to make enough difference (unless your Turkey, but they aren't giving them up). But the Bradleys will make an impact.

The french AMX-10 RC will be good, as long as they don't get the wheels stuck in the mud.

Everything else is pretty standard, the odd one in this round is the RIM-7. Yes the SEA sparrow, the ship based Surface to Air missile based on the AIM-7 Sparrow air to air missile. They will be apparently mounted on Ukrainian trucks.

This isn't the first time this has been done. Taiwan mounted them on towed trailers for ground base use. The Navy has a bunch of these sitting around doing squat, and will never be used again. They have been replaced in US service with the VLS equipped ships of the modern US navy, and can't be easily fitted to the newer ships.

Seen Joe Rogan had a guy in talking about Russia and Ukraine. He also said in about 10 years or less Russia and China hit rock bottom big time. Said Russia throwing another 500,000 troops in. It’s their only chance as this is the last time they will have this many young men to be killed. Russia has the mentality they need a dozen countries and control 180 million people as a buffer in case they are invaded. That’s not going to work. Ukraine didn’t roll over like in 2014 and Europe and US helping Ukraine. He said we really haven’t seen either side take the gloves off yet. That happens he thinks this happens late spring. Russia will have more men, that’s all they got and don’t care about having them killed in the least. Ukraine will have better trained troops and lots of weapons ready. If Russia wins over 1 million Ukraines dead and Russia has Ukraine. If Ukraine wins another 500,000 dead Russians. He doesn’t think Putin uses nukes unless invaded. He has back down on nuke talks because we let him know about secret calls and let him know we know where he is 24/7. Russia just doesn’t have the tech to be secret anymore. Putin knows if nukes come he can’t go anywhere to hide and live. The outcome for Russia is grim. They either win, and by winning they have to keep taking more countries or they go down the drain. China is in same boat and that was interesting, and we better figure out how we make it without China goods soon. Hard to believe Russia has 100,000 killed already. Meat grinder coming in a few months, we may not of seen anything yet.
