    In the country, hopefully.
    THIS^^^

Projectiles shed velocity on the way to the target, but not mass and cross-sectional area. Ask yourself why 9mm has to try so hard to deliver enough performance just to come close to 40, 45 or 38SA. If you believe in the 'more rounds' rationale, shouldn't you be jumping to 30 carry or 5.7 x 28?
Oh yeah 5.7x28 gets a mention and it wasn’t by me!!!

I think the notion that your EDC says something about you is preposterous.

Needs to be comfortable, so you actually carry it.. and needs to be reliable. Stick with a gun that's got a good reputation for reliability. Looks shouldn't be a priority.. if you truly carry it every day it's going to get beat up anyways!

But why can’t it be reliable AND pretty? I don’t put my handguns into spreadsheets to determine the most reliable by others. I like what I shoot well and it just happens to be pretty because JMB knew what he was doing.

Agree with pretty and reliable is great. Not so sure about pretty and unreliable. I think most modern handguns are pretty reliable now so perhaps that is not really an issue. From what I have seen personally most people that don't carry as often as they would like is due to the excuse that it is not comfortable. Need to find something that works for you so that you actually carry it. It doesn't work well in the night stand.

I don’t carry as often as I like because I have to work and it’s not alllowed. Or at the wife’s school which is also not allowed. A solid belt and good holster makes carrying my heavy all steel compact 1911 a breeze

Yeah agree. Seems like either I am at work, near or at a school, gov't building or at a bar..

Reckon my driver and carry do resemble each other in ways I never thought about before reading this thread.

97 Chevy Blazer and a Glock19. Nothing flashy, nothing exotic. They're both cheap to own, low maintenance but easy to work on when needed, start/fire as expected. Parts are cheap and readily available. I guess I see em both as "practical" which makes em both fine by me.

Have a 2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R SpecV (6spd) and a Sig 365Macro that could probably go together, but haven't really thought about that correlation. Both are relatively new to me, so I'm not intimately familiar with em yet.
