I just got back from the polls. The Mitchell polling center looked to be pretty crowded when I drove by. I went to the fairgrounds center (Lawrence county only has about 2 places that aren’t schools or court house(s)). No line there but there were people coming in as I was leaving.

I see they were able to pry themselves away from hunting down parents who spoke at school board meetings.
I thought they were so swamped with all the J6 insurrection investigations that they had to pull people off child sexual abuse\trafficking investigations. I guess keeping power is more important.

In a “normal’, imperfect world, this would be seen as a “eh, it happens”. In a post 2020 world, nobody trusts you. We assume you are lying. The woman that left and said she’d come back later is probably the best answer.

@ the corner of IN, KY & OH.
My wife voted this morning and said that the machine was rejecting about every third ballot, including hers. Dunno what the problem was. I miss the days when you went to the polling sight, did the scan-tron form, ran it through the machine and done.

My work place is a polling place this year again, and though I can see it from my house, I can't vote there. Still likely to be a zoo. Last time (in 2000) one guy wore a G-string as a mask.

But still better than when we moved here. I voted in one place and SWMBO voted in another. What, did the line run through our bedroom?
Why not? At least here in the big city, you can go to any polling location.

Our machines are slick. When they scan your ID, it prints the header on a TOTALLY blank ballot sheet. You feed that into the machine and it pulls up your choices. You vote, it then takes you through to confirm your votes on the screen. Then it prints out your votes on the "paper" ballot as it spits it back out. You then feed it into the tabulator, watch the vote count increment by one (two if it was a straight ticket dem ballot) and then get your sticker.

In line in Montgomery County...can't wait to vote straight ticket Libertarian then watch the horizon for Mike's head to explode when Todd Young loses to the Dem by one vote.

Yeah, I voted at the Johnson County courthouse in Franklin on Saturday.

It took me longer to go back to the car and put my knife and gun away to vote than to actually vote.

    PROBLEM!!!
Maybe. Depends on where the polling location is, and how many there were yesterday.
Going just off that screenshot, I guess I should panic at my house? I only have 2 SSIDs on my network, but I can see at least 8 others. Guess I better start looking under things, behind things, etc. to find all the hidden networks that somebody hid in my house. :tinfoil:
