@2A_Tom - here is a source for replacement camp carbine stocks:

There are a couple of others out there making reproduction stocks.

Since you missed it here's my Camp 9:

I did mine with a Boyds blank years ago. They used to offer the original shape, but I see now they just offer the Pro-varmint or Thumbhole style.

Once I did my 1st one, I ordered 2 more blanks, and almost have another one done for Camp9 #2, with a Leupold red dot sight. Here's the 1st one. Shoots into one inch, roughly, at 50 yards, with Remington 115 gr bulk HP. I can't ask for much better with a PCC.

When I ordered the new spring and buffer, they sent me the 21# spring for the .45 caliber, instead of the 16# recommended for the 9mm. I used it and it's worked with everything I've fed it so far.

Question- I need a radiator repaired or re-cored. It is for an old Allis Chalmers tractor. Does anyone know of a good old-school radiator shop in Hammond, East Chicago, Highland or Griffith? It's just easier for me to get there during the day than using a shop closer to home.

    Thanks.

    My dad knows him.
As s kid my grandpa would take jedi here when his van had issues. Chevo would let me "work" on different cars junk items he had while he and my grandpa would talk and fix the van.

In addition to my laminated stock I posted, a nice quality walnut stock would be awesome on the Camp 9. Not a bad price either, if the quality is there, but it takes a lot of work to finish one from a blank.

The Boyds stocks they're offering now are basically drop-in finished, if you like the styles and colors they offer, for about $175.

    These are mutually exclusive.
    Can't be both.
Sort of like choosing between being a liberal or a functioning adult.
    Can't be both.
There were actually a lot of us in that unit that didn't mind jumping.

I was the odd duck that loved it. Any obstacle course confidence course. Heights have never bothered me.

There were a few that came over from ASA (that were tricked into going Airborne, they were told they would never have to jump after Jump School) when our Unit was formed.

    Maybe this....

If it comes down to it, I can always buy new, but this one is stamped with a manufacturing date of 8/51 and I would prefer to keep it. Also, there is a wide variation of quality and to get close to original quality, it's $250-$300. Even an entire recore should be less than that.
