Got the second fuel filter changed on the dozer yesterday. Starts better now.

Aaaaaand. . . .I broke it again. Starter spins something that doesn't stop spinning when the starter stops. May have broken the crank.. New motor, here we come.

Yeah the price has come down a bit to what I gave for it and want out of it. I normally ask an inflated price because normally putting this is the firm price hurts feelings and gets people chattering about it…… the last time I listed something for sale at the firm price I remember a little group of folks that got rather hurt hurt that I wouldn’t consider their offers over my firm price lol

Very cool. Reminds me of a huge storm that blew in when I was working in Bloomington, Minnesota back in 2005 or so. Clouds similar to that blew in and the whole place went pitch dark like the middle of the night in just a few minutes. It started raining so hard you could hardly see out a few feet. Then the wind picked up and blew the rain straight sideways. I was on the 15th floor of a office building, looking out at the building across the street and the rain was hitting the building so hard it looked like a wave breaking against a cliff or something. Wildest storm I ever saw.

Did Cajun Gun Works do the 1911 bushing modification or did CZ Custom do it? Just curious, last I knew only CGW was doing them, but I see CZ Custom is now also.

Unsure at this point. Gonna drag it out where we can get at it tomorrow. I know they used a fiber composite gear on it somewhere that is unobtanium and will down it permanently if it is what broke.

The 97B is too nice of a pistol to have been discontinued. If I didn't already have two we would be talking.

Picked up my new Aero Precision M5 AR308 yesterday. Cleaned the factory preservative out of the barrel tonight and removed the handguard to replace the birdcage flash hider with a Rugged suppressor mount/brake. Got it all finished up and had everything in my hands to carry back upstairs when I noticed I had eff'ed up and put a 3 pronged suppressor mount on. Oh well, I called it good practice and put the brake on.
