I saw that this morning on the tv news. I have to admit that I thought, at least he's white so no one will really care.
This person on yahoo brought that up... but not in the same way as you meant.

Tasers and stun guns are so passé. It's blood in, blood out!

I'm kidding, eff those guys. They need to booked into the same jail they hauled him off to.

Yeah, thats a little rough. Not sure what happened to bring on this reaction from the officers but it does look a wee bit excessive.

I'll with hold judgement until further details are available.
Yup, not falling for the, "I saw a snippet of a video and thus I have enough info to pass judgement." There is WAY more involved in determining the reasonableness of force used than just looking at a video. It certainly plays a part but just a part.

Rodney king is a good examples here.
What did the guy do to trigger this response.

I'm curious is donut operator will take a crack at it.

I consider you a reasonable man and a stand up guy and professional. But under what circumstances would this be acceptable behavior for the officers? At what point is stomping on them and slamming their head into the pavement repeatedly acceptable behavior?

Im honestly interested in how that would be justified and under what circumstances. No trolling or disrespect intended. I honestly want to know how this would be justified?

As a civilian, I see 3 men who need to be shown the door at least. Maybe more.

Yeah, I'll wait for the rest of the story and/or any other video. But I will say it looks bad. The knee strikes to the guys legs didn't seem too bad, but grabbing the guys head lifting it up and slamming it down does seem excessive.

Like others, I would be interested in hearing more details of what transpired and any justifiable reasoning for the actions taken.
However, again just as others have said I can't imagine any scenario where raising and slamming someone's head into the ground is an acceptable means to gain control of an individual. Nor can I imagine it to be within any training protocol or SOP.
On the surface this doesn't look good.

This was my observation as well. The cop in the middle looks to be simply trying to pin him down. The other cop doing the knee strikes I've seen before and recognize it as basically a training technique I believe. Pretty sure slamming one's head into the pavement is an adlib not taught in training. Maybe the perp was trying to go for his gun or grab his nuts or whatever. IDK. I didn't see it.
