So yeah my assigned Tahoe is in the shop waiting on a radiator. So today I get stuck with an Equinox. Oddly enough the odometer goes up to 180 mph. Seriously they have got to be kidding.

Ok I was putting chicken on the Smoker….

A LT1 it is not. I am used to a lot faster reaction when I move my right foot lol. Yes it made it down hill to about 105. Before I let off a bit. I was fairly sure the thing was about to have a seizure.

Since it's a rental, just put a bottle of nitrous in the passenger seat with a line running into the intake.

This is true. I can say for certain that just because you put a turbo on something it is not a viable substitution for displacement.

A stock equinox 4 banger cant get out of its own way. I drove one for work a few times. Punch it while doing 65 and it revs like crazy and then sloooooooooooooooowly accelerates. It easily took 8-10 seconds to get over 70 from there.

Not sure if its crappy gearing or a crappy engine. I asked for something different the next time I went back to borrow a car to travel.

We have an Equinox, your speedometer is off...........................way off, lol.
Gets good mpg though.

Again, this is comparing the Equinox Turbo to a full size pickup. It has very good get up and go...

I had one for a loaner when my continental was in service. Definitely a POS rides like a little red wagon

Doesn't sound like your borrowed Equinox is the turbo model, which is quicker 0-60 than a Tahoe. Not sure what displacement gets you when a lot of smaller turbocharged engines outperform larger NA engines in HP and torque in similar applications.

Doesn't matter if it's the turbo or non turbo, nothing parties like a rental or a loaner
