Today, between 0900 and 1630, every gas station (that I drove past) in New Palestine, Indy, Southport, Greenwood, Bargersville and Mooresville was selling gas at $4.89. Every single gas station was at that price to the penny. Hmm. This is gonna get ugly. We're nearing a point that availability/affordability is bordering on tragic. Ugly in a bad way.

I drove about 25 - 30 miles round trip this morning passing about 6 or 7 stations. Every one was either 4.799 or 4.899. Saw this price sign earlier this morning on Fox News, now a meme. A station in L. A. area. Prices are insane. But I also took note of only $.04 difference between regular and premium.

On the bright side maybe when it hit $10 a gallon they will switch to $10.00/gallon instead of $10.000/gallon to find that needed digit. Alway wondered where that $.001/gallon x millions of gallons a day went.

Wasn't there a movie with Richard Pryor where he started stealing the fractional pennies from tax payers? It was a silly movie but something like .00cents multiplied by the number of tax payers equaled crazy dollars. If only my commute were a comedy...

Man, this **** could go sideways in a hurry. We've passed the point of bitchandmoan and are in the unfortunate decision time.
Starting in March, savings rates have plummeted to nothing and consumer credit card debt has soared. People are cleaning out their savings and charging up their credit cards to keep up with Biden's prices. It's gonna collapse soon and the bottom is going to fall out of consumer demand, crashing the economy and bringing the layoffs.

Rent, food, and gas eat first. Everything else lines up for what's left. When those things double or triple in price, it comes out of everything else, and the "everything else" is what runs a consumer- and service-based economy.

Tipping Point. What is the tipping point? A book I read a few years ago, The Tipping Point, goes through various scenarios of history of where things lined up, and eventually took off (tipping point). One example was the pet rock. What would cause million of people to spend money on a rock? Another example is how crime skyrocketed in NY and then how it was reduced and what was the tipping point to cause each trend. I believe the United States is close to the tipping point where God fearing Americans take back their country.

Forgive my cynicism but I don't see it happening. Americans claiming no religious beliefs at all are on the rise. I read an article several months ago talking about the latest Barna survey. It said that a record low percentage of Christians hold a biblical worldview. I don't know if there are enough God fearing Americans to even start a good fight anymore.

    I hope I'm wrong.

AND WE NEED TO REMEMBER SOME VOTED FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe Biden said “I guarantee you we're going to end fossil fuels,” in New Castle, N.H. on 9/6/19.

They knew, they don't care. Most live in the city and don't even own a car. As long as Biden destroys America the voters will be happy. After all they are communist serving China.

This is Americas final chance perhaps to switch to a 3rd party and rid every R and D out of Washington and reverse course. Teddy did it long ago.....we don't need rebuilt, we just need our Republic back and the Democracy killed. Na, ain't going to happen. Wishful thinking though.

And then those people must rely on Government (Biden) for aid and help.....Checkmate. Now all kinds of stuff can get passed for the "cause".

"A government big enough to give you everything is a government that can take it all away." Thomas Jefferson.

Pilot and Loves Truck stops issued an alert today for much of the northeast USA. They already have stations out of diesel and expect even more.

How did this shortage get solved? From Russia of course, kind of. See India is getting loads of oil from Russia(at an average of 71 USD a barrel for more than 2 months now),and they have spare refining capacity. So where did the diesel that just saved the east coast come from? Yep,India at the best margins of any refined oil products in history(they could run a record budget surplus if this last even 2 more months). It is not just India either imports from west asia to the US east coast that used to never exist arrive almost daily now.

but....the kicker...we are still exporting diesel in record volume to the EU.
