Not surprised. And not just Disney. Any company that wants to minimize disruptions.

TL;DR security officer comes forward to say they were told not to report a molestation caught on camera to police even though they were still docked in FL. At that time it was a US crime for the police. It was later called in once they were out of US waters and by that time US police didnt want to do anything.

We went one time, I had all the joy I can take in my lifetime from the 110 degree heat waiting in line for hours bit. However if Disney goes out of business, I really don’t care. They have had it way too good for way too long And King Disney needs to be pushed and leaned on a bit. I’d have a lot more success in life if I didn't pay taxes and set my own rules too. Like many other monopolies, they need to pay their share.

    .
Maybe they will double down by raising prices and catering solely to the rich woke and foreigners. Like many institutions these days, the inhabitants of flyover land don't matter.

    I think that's what they're shooting for.
I think they WANT to get away from crowds of the "poor".
Move on to fewer numbers of people, that have more disposable cash.

It 100% is their current buisness model , that being said the park needs to bring back the old standard of customer service now that the covid BS is over. In Laws LOVE Disney and so does the wife. Was just there in February , hate to break it to the poors who cannot afford it but they are not trying to brainwash kids at the park. It's mostly for adults now IMHO , they are selling nostalgia. About the most overt LGBT thing you saw in the park was the rainbow mickey pins... Plus to my knowledge not a single one of their movies has an openly gay protagonist.

Morally bankrupt company , but their wokeness is lip service only. Most people want the current CEO to be outted ASAP he is dog :poop: .

That being said I am never in favor of any company getting special tax breaks for stuff like this. Instance of this , when Amazon was looking for a new headquarters and basically taking bids from state governments for the best deal. Everyone should be treated equally.

It is all the same corporation…
I understand that. But that lack of nuance is like saying the butt of a knife is just as dangerous as the tip or blade. Yes its all the same object, but not all parts are equal. Dont act like they are.

Do I think you should go and give your money to the mouse? NO. Do I think the park is going to impact your child by influencing them based on what they will see or hear? (outside of "its a small world". That ride is creepy AF) Absolutely not.

But acting like the park today is going to influence your child in the way everyone is freaking out about is just flat out silly. And foolish.

This is ridculous. It is not a knife or other object but a corporation. You are welcome to make cover for them…
