1-you can see why his administration is so hesitant to give up the covid issue. They would lose too much control. Control over transportation, control over American's daily lives, and especially control over voting. Voting in person would be much too dangerous if covid were still a thing, you see.

I'm still waiting for all the geniuses to show up on this thread. You know, the ones who said he'd be stepping down by now to let Kamala Harris up on the pedestal. They used to be thick as flies around here.

I am not an online scholar or genius, but I honestly think that was their plan to use jackhole joe to get in and then have him step aside and make history with having the first women of color president. But when the rubber hit the road and they realized just what an idiot she really is and had to go to their cover and deflect plan.

But he does check one box as an alphabet person (LGBTQ). And has proven to toe the party line no matter what, which is very important. Party above all else.

IIRC it's that he would step down or be removed after 1/2 his term. That way when Harris takes over she would be able to finish this term and still run for 2 more. Still have a few more months before then.
