Instead of pissing everyone off we need to get our own **** together here at home.

Absolutely nothing the current administration is doing will strengthen America.

Biden can take his “build back better” plan and shove it. It ain’t worth a ****.

Not only is he screwing everything up domestically he touts himself as the big foreign affairs hotshot with all the experience but he’s ****ing that up too.
People also need to keep in mind that electing republican majorities in the house and senate in 2022 will prevent new damage, but legislatively stopping Biden from all the damage he is already doing will take a veto-proof majority or some petty drastic warfare on the budgets of federal agencies - like complete defunding of key parts of agencies or entire agencies until they submit (reconciliation makes budget stuff a simple majority)

The current fight ain't over until January 20, 2025 at which time the real fight will only just be beginning

Look at all the **** the EU, our government and NATO got us into by monkeying around in Ukraine. Yeah that plan blew up. We had no business being there in Russia’s backyard in the first place.

If anything NATO should’ve stayed out of trying to expand into Ukraine and shored up military capabilities in the Balkan states and the rest of Europe therefore sending a message to Russia if they have any aspirations of expanding past Ukraine it’s on like Donky Kong.
Wouldn't that just change the argument to 'Would you risk nuclear war for the Balkans? It isn't in our national interest'

We have no business drawing Obama Red Lines® that the crossing of we have absolutely no intention of disputing

We should hold the EU's coat for them while they take care of the threat, that would be apropos

The old saying is that NATO had two purposes, to keep Russia out and Germany down. Might be time to rethink that second one

Oh I whole heartedly agree that the EU should be taking the lead in defense of their own corner of the world. I've said that before. I never said anything in my post you quoted to suggest that the US should take the lead. As a matter of fact, I said Trump was right to get after them to up their game and not always rely on the US to take the lead in a previous post.

    Kelly is spot on!

I witnessed Marine Harriers pound a village to dust in 2003.
We found only civilians in the rubble.

Intel stated enemy troops and vehicles possibly a Chemical plant. Never thought about a war crime. It wasn't intended to kill innocent people.

How about our fire bombing campaign in WW2 or agent Orange in Nam?

We have no moral high ground to preach from.

Russian and Ukraine can fight it out. We can stand on the sidewalk and watch.

You forgot your purple right? Because there’s no way your statement doesn’t read that way.
Oh so you believe that the actions of a corrupt Ukrainian government is akin to a young woman wearing a short skirt? I would never make that comparison. Apparently, you don’t think very highly of that young woman.

Again, your analogy does not compute.

    Blinken is a ****ing moron

This is from August of 2019 - pre covid, pre Ukraine invasion but 5 years after Crimea and 11 years after Georgia

Things were no better this year when Germany took control of Nato’s Very High Readiness Joint Task Force, charged with combatting the threat from Russia. Germanypromised to have 44 Leopard 2 tanks and 14 Marder armoured infantry vehicles available for the task, yet in the event could only muster nine and three respectively. A leaked document revealed that the Luftwaffe’s Eurofighter and Tornado fighter jets, along with its transport helicopters, are only available for use for an average of four months per year — spending the rest of the time laid up for maintenance and repair.
And the 'high readiness joint task force' mentioned is the very same one NATO so ostentatiously announced it was standing up

What are the odds its readiness is any better

Germany has completely gutted their military. They have 266 tanks now with few in operational condition. By comparison, Japan has four times that many and is an Island nation. Unbelievable and irresponsible.
That is what happens whenever you spend 60 years living underneath the generous umbrella of protection provided by the United States of America.

Military Intelligence, now there's a contradiction in terms.

It's hard to fathom what was considered part of war in the past looking through a lens of today's standards.

George Rogers Clark at Vincennes? Those boys waded through the flooded Wabash River and tomahawking Indian scouts in front of the fort was in the ROE. Must've been, they did it.

Morgan's Raid passed through Becks Mill on their way to Salem. They were fed lunch to spare the mill being burned. Sherman's March to the Sea is still vilified in Georgia.

WW II: Germans bombed London, we bombed their cities. 100K were killed firebombing Tokyo, Bombs Away rhymes with LeMay for a reason.

Took some time away from following this today but came across this on tik tok. Worth sharing in case anyone had any ideas about joining the Ukrainian foreign legion.

Personally I don’t think you will make it in time if you leave now. Ukraine will most likely fall into an insurgency situation within the next week.

I’m still in utter shock that I watched on livestream an attack on a nuclear power plant last night. Should the cooling system have been damaged from the shelling a total meltdown would have been possible. Nuclear reaction melting into the earths core until it hits the water table and or gas/oil deposits causing a planet wide disaster……..

    Horrible thought.

    What could possibly go wrong?

PS: Comments are the best part of the article:

Kamala Harris went to Poland. Poland is a country in Europe. It is next to Germany, which is a slightly bigger country. It is also near Lithuania. Lithuania is also a country, but it is a smaller country. All these countries border the Baltic Sea. You could cross the Baltic Sea if you had a boat, but then you would be in a different country.

Here Putin is practicing "lebenstraum" at a cabinet meeting. Probably to discuss "lebenstraum" He needs 3/4 of that table as his living space.

    View attachment 185555
There are rumors that Putin might be ill and having a weak immune system at the moment because of a possible treatment.
Cancer and chemotherapy comes to mind ...

He apparently very afraid of COVID, or any other disease.
That's a new thing, he wasn't staying that far away from people in the last few months, years.

When the French president Macron came to visit Putin in Moscow, the French president was asked to take a PCR test when he arrived at the Kremlin.

The test needed to be done by a Russian doctor, so Macron refused.
He was tested by his own doctor before leaving Paris, and again when he landed in Moscow before leaving his plane.

Since Macron refused the test he had to stay far away from Putin.

I believe in 2020, 2021, Putin was standing much closer to his guests ... and COVID was already around.

So it could be a new thing. :dunno:

That would also explain why he's not afraid to start WW2.

This. After 9/11 my dad, a VERY experienced private security guy who later became a special deputy with MCSO decided to apply.

He was told after the interview he wasnt suited for the position due to his temperament. DAFU??? A calm, collected dude with no temper isnt suited? More like "too smart to be easily controlled by his bosses".

Then I got a good look at who they were hiring several years later when I flew. They were right given who they were hiring.
