You're right. We're all being hypocritical and in lockstep with neo cons and the MSM when it comes to Ukraine/Russia.

Not saying that. He is distrustful of what the MSM is feeding us. As is most all of INGO when it comes to almost anything. It does seem like some are buying into the "official" story that is being put out by that same MSM and TPTB regarding this particular issue. If the subject was Covid and he was saying the same things about them, he'd be getting a clap on the back and glad hands all around.

Also most recently, Putin made a whole speech condemning Marxism and Bolshevism.

He also said he wasn't going to invade Ukraine.

Trump threw off his liberal elite past image and became a conservative to win, so I have no doubt that Putin can shed his communist skin. Whatever it take to be in power.

On a more practical note, Russians are not required to follow any prescribed ideology whatsoever. From that standpoint, they can feel free to speak their minds (not to be confused with manifestations of authoritarianism like, e.g., a violation of the right to protest, etc.).

Speak their minds? Is that why people are being removed from the TV shows, and social media is being restricted?

So with all that, I am simply asking for any proof that Russia is a communist country, that's all.
I personally think, again, that Russia is a dictatorial kleptocratic oligarchy.

Why would anyone throw pearls before swine? With all your talk about stolen elections, it's clear that you aren't influenced by evidence (or lack of evidence). You have an opinion that Russia is free, peaceful and definitely not reminiscent of the USSR.

That's not a correct inference. My loyalties are to my family. I happen to agree with Carlin's immortal quote: "I leave the symbols to the symbol-minded."
That being said, both Russia and Ukraine are pretty terrible places to live, and I happen to enjoy the rights and freedoms provided to me by this great nation.
By pointing out the typical team mentality phenomenon I am actually trying to discourage people from joining any particular team.

It isn't quite like that, though. A better analogy would be that he would be using his questioning of the official story of WuVid in order to whitewash Fauci's and CDC's responsibility in the situation
