Cop in the area on another forum stated they are pushing a bunch of plain clothes officers back in to uniform, mandating overtime, and diverting patrol downtown to deal with it.

What's not in the media (per him) is the 10 shootings resulting in 4 fatalities that occurred in areas that will now have less patrols due to this diversion.

Optics driven policing, but I get it. Things will get worse before they get better. The manpower shortages in local law enforcement will help drive that, but certainly won't be the only factor.

Except the people who are grabbing others wealth in that manor do not accumulate wealth. They abuse it, destroy it, trade it for drugs or hooch, and pretty much stay as they are.

Most in America are not poor for lack of opportunity, they are poor because they have poor ways from poor value system. Families with better ways and better value systems still com to America and in one generation are college educated professionals living the good life. Ill gotten gains, including welfare NEVER works.

Is it really "looting" if it is government sanctioned and approved by citizens? They WANTED fewer cops, they WANTED less enforcement, the WANTED low/no bail and catch/release. This type of activity is directly related to the laws and policies they intentionally adopted.
