    .
I only loaded 12 in mine, but had a spare handy. The old T pistol from the 60s was very accurate while I could still see the sights.

Whats with the interweb scuttlebutt about price gouging on these from big online sellers jacking up the price? Any truth to it or just noise?

Not sure of there's enough material there as is for checkering. It's pretty thin
Well crap. I guess I’ll be crossing my fingers and hoping for some aftermarket wrap-around grips. Worst case scenario, I have some left over talon grip material. I’d hate to ugly it up but I’ve come to dislike bare front straps.

With the amount of "gun community " folks flipping ammo the last 18 months it's only expected that the same Douche Nozzles will flip a new firearm the same way

True, there's still a ton on GB but I think it might be cooling off a bit. There have been some that have been sold in the 800's now and there doesn't seem to be as much bidding frenzy. That one that got bid up to over 2500.00 ended up having a deadbeat buyer and is now relisted and hasn't gone much past 850.00 lol.

    Brownells had them UNDER MSRP
    $679

But there gone. Probably on gunbroker now
Now 40 of them for sale with no bids under $800 and a couple about to end over $1000

Buying a handgun with an MSRP of about $650-$700 for over a $1,000 is a sign of incorrect mental reasoning. This handgun is not like a uber rare Luger or 1911. It is a reproduction, albeit an apparently good one, and not a future collectible. When I saw the bid on one for over $2,000 on GunBroker I just LMAO. Simply ridiculous if people out there spend that kind of $ on this handgun. I just can't reconcile these prices paid with what reality should be. Ouch!

The SA-35 doesn't have the firing pin safety like the MKIII's.
Thanks for that info. I'm a little disapointed that they did that. The firing pin safety was IMHO a great feature, with little/no performance cost. Maybe I'm just irrational, but I felt better that if the hammer ever slipped the sear, everything was still fine as long as the trigger wasn't back. At least that's the story I told my butt to make it feel better about having a cocked-n-locked BHP pointed at it all day.

Makes me wonder if this was some kind of Patent/legal issue. I can't think of why else they would make that particular choice.

Agreed! I jumped online and found places listing it below $600, just not in stock. Went to gunbroker just to look, and had the exact same reaction you did. Even at MSRP, I'm not sure I want one of the first production runs. Either get >#000100 (just because), or let'em get the kinks out and wait for more real range reports.

I must be doing something wrong. Never get anything.
Maybe I will check my info with them
If you haven't, maybe check your email settings (and/or have an admin check further up the food chain). Even if they didn't go to your 'junk mail', the messages may have been outright blocked at a higher level.
