Saturday morning and all is quiet on the NWI front. For now with the wife going to the Scarecrow Festival today in Wanatah.

Just ordered a complete psa blem 16in 1in7 upper with magpul back up sight and forend for 321 shipped. Now for the valpo show next weekend to find a stripped lower and buttstock. A family of 4 deserves 4 AR's.

Went shooting at Willow Slough this morning. I fired my SA Ronin .45 ACP for the first time and can report that I am pleased with it so far. It digested 150 rounds of Speer Lawman 230 gr FMJ without a single hiccup.

What were your impressions of Willow Slough? And was it busy? Ruger looks like a good shooter so far!

I do most of my shooting at Willow Slough since 2017. It's a nice range, newly constructed about 5 years ago. They had a decent crowd there this morning but 2/3 of the lanes were still available. It starts getting busier around 10:00 so I try to get there 8:00-8:30 and usually shoot for 2 hours. But even with that, I have never seen it crowded like you can get at J-P on a weekend afternoon. Go there on a weekday (W-F) and you can have it nearly all to yourself.

My wife and I did the festival at Sunset Hill Farm in Valpo today. Just a gorgeous fall day. How busy was the Scarecrow fest? We were thinking of hitting it tomorrow.

Started the process by meeting with a union rep.
But when I called comany HR, I was told not to bother them, it's too early.
So, end of November I start the paperwork.

Are you old enough to collect social security you should apply as well. You can do it 3 months before age 62.

I would STRONGER advise to get it as soon as possible before congress is forced to change the law on rates/benefits of the program.
Within the next 10 years this will have to occur based on how much in the hole the program is.
