Question. What is the advantage of a full rail? Never had a 1911 with a rail at all but am contemplating it.This screams for s full length rail.
I have a DW Specialist which has the partial rail as in the Springfield video above. For me it's plenty of real estate for mounting a weapon light. The full rail gives you more mounting flexibility for light/laser accessories with the (IMHO) aesthetics trade-off. I prefer the look of the partial rail to maintain the scalloped profile of the slide/frame fitment.Question. What is the advantage of a full rail? Hilton Yam of 10-8 giving a detailed breakdown of the Emissary , apparently his handgun came with a 6# pull yikes. Probably a little bit better of a review than the Shill Supreme Sootch can do IMHO

I love this Beast, definitely Badass! I believe that the Emissary would only benefit from a full railed dust cover imo.
Did you end up buying it?I have an older Springfield Target model and don't really need another 1911 right now. Still, this one has me rethinking that. View attachment 151555
