Back from South Bend. A lot warmer there today. Rain held out. Cooked 40 Burgers and 30 hot dogs. Fed 17 adults and 25 kids. SILs mom made 100 empanadas as well (his parents are from Columbia). Man are those awesome. Hid a gallon ziploc baggie full to bring home :alright:

Yup. I was telling my dad I thought it was going to rain, but the weatherman said no.
    That was at 9 am.

Well, we worked out all day on my trailer, and it DIDN'T rain. Weatherman was right.

Got the spare tire mount moved to a better spot.
New brake lights, marker lights, etc drilled out and mounted.
    Everything is wired up.
Just need to heat up the heat shrink to finish the lights. I'm waiting till they're tested... JUST IN CASE.

So, feel pretty good about getting work done.

One weird thing. I had a battery tender sitting on one of my "tie downs" during the winter.
Dang tie down looks like the coating was removed from that one, but the other tie downs are okay.
So, it must have been the battery tender.
So if you use one, make sure it's on wood.

Planning to head up to Chiraq tomorrow. If the earth shifts its rotational axis and Jedi falls off the planet it may well be due to the fact that I made it across US30 and continued to travel northbound.

Planning to go to Chinatown for some of the good stuff. Not the local cats and pigeons served up in take out containers that we get here in NWI

What is your restaurant of choice there? Moon Palace was my favorite

For old school dim sum dining, it has to be Won Kow upstairs on Wentworth. Phoenix is good for dim sum. Emperors Palace is good for a small place. Saigon Noodle shop for their Pho with tripe, tendon and flank. But we often tend to wander and buy take out from multiple places. Typically will get a couple whole ducks if we do the carry out thing. I'm guessing today we will do a combo of dine-in/carry out.

I don't think there is much gang violence in China Town.

That is my perception, I may be wrong.

Good thing I didn't shrink the heat shrink yet.
Tested the trailer lights, three marker lights on the passenger side didn't work.
Yup, they were all wired up, EXCEPT I forgot the wire to the power. They were wired together, but not to the source.
    :faint:

Tomorrow's job, I have to cut off the plug on the SUV, and solder a new one one.
