I have a niece who had a best friend who was black. Until the culture war hit hard during the riots. Her friend accused her of being privileged racist. And my niece is pretty left wing. She just didn't know anything about wokeness until it hit her friend. They're no longer friends but that was not my niece's choice. It's a damn shame.
