You can choose to support their nonsense if you like. I personally have had enough of all of the sports virtue signaling. They are all dead to me. Can't say I really miss any of it either at this point.
I really don't see how my watching them on tv is supporting them. They're getting my (and yours if you have cable) just from the cable fees. It's not like I'm buying tickets, Colts merchandise, etc.. I enjoy watching the home team. It also seemed like the Colts weren't as involved in as much of the "woke" crap as some of the teams.

What's wrong with Brady? He's the QB G.O.A.T. Seeing him win the last one with TB was pretty awesome.
Oh, not denying he's a great quarterback. I just don't like him, or anything associated with the Pats (and yes I know he's with TB now). I know it's irrational, but it is what it is. I've often said that whatever he's doing to keep playing at his level, the Colts need to adopt as part of their training regimen.

It is. Networks make money on advertisements. The more people who watching it makes the ads worth more, and thus makes NFL content worth more to the networks. If their income was only about cable fees they wouldn't really start caring about viewership until it got low enough for cable not to carry it. If you have digital cable (pretty much everyone does now) then you count as a view whether you like it or not. If you stream it that's a view as well even if you don't participate as a "Nielsen family".

I'm not telling you not to watch Football. I don't watch regularly but I do watch a few games a season, especially when my son comes over to watch with me.

I have come to terms with my own irrational hatred of players because of the teams. I mean. Sometimes I just hate the players because of the players. But, like Arron Rogers for example. I hated him because I hate the *** Packers. But, then when the talk was that he's getting traded I started thinking, well, what if Rogers came to play on a team I really like. I have to admit that I would like that. And it's really not about Rogers.

That said, the opposite is also true. I thought I liked the Pats. But then when Brady left, I suddenly found myself liking the Bucs, and I've never liked the Bucs. And I also found myself rooting against the Pats. I used to think I liked Belichick, but turns out I actually don't like him all that much. So, I think I liked the pats and Belichick because I like TB. Since that discovery, now, I only hate the NFL because of Roger Goodell and his woke ********. I still hate GB but the players are either liked or disliked based on the individual. And I still like TB, but I can dislike the pats.

Well, if by some weird fluke, Brady would've ended up coming to the Colts, I would've been like that "two button" meme.

Well, I only watch the Colts games (unless it's a night game), and the occasional playoff game and the Superbowl, so I'm not contributing that much.

People just do not seem to understand how ratings work and they do.
