Somebody said something about a lack of videos:

I didn't read the story but I believe the Governor of Montana said that they were going to suspend all unemployment benefits for this very reason. They have thousands of unfilled positions that people aren't even applying for. If I find the link later I'll add it.
I saw that as well. I can hear the sissy's screaming ;like smashed cats.
Peoples this is by design. To think other wise is a fools errand.

What was the diagnosis on the engine....?????
No idea. The carb is in pieces on the bench. So much ethanol gunk in there I’m surprised it ran

plan right now is get it running, set the timing and drive it a bit. If it’s stuck rings driving it may pop them loose. If it continues I’ll start with a set of valve seals. If it continues past that I’ll run a leak down and compression test. And if it continues past that the engine comes back out, we overbore it and put new rings in.

If you're concerned about stuck rings go ahead and squirt some Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders and let it soak while you're wrapping up other issues. There's a very short list of additives that I believe in and this one is at the top of that list.

It's helped with various stuck lifters, dirty injectors, etc. for me over the years and I always have a bottle of it on the shelf.

I don’t think it’s stuck ring/rings. The really high oil pressure I think is causing the oil to pool up top and getting sucked in through the valves. I may have to change pumps. It was supposed to be a high volume not a high pressure

Spent a good day in the shop.
My guy at Earls on Gasoline alley fixed me up with the proper inverted to -6 fittings. Made up my lines and they are perfect. This will be the lines I use for all the under hood stuff.

The 3/8" header flanges came. Using them to space the headers out for plug clearance on #3 and #4.

If you look at the ports you will see these are not stock Chevy heads. Note the ARP heads studs...:)

What headers are those? Looks like they fit the angle Plugs a lot better than mine.

also tired of waiting for the coilovers for the Rio. It’s been a week into three 3-4 week delivery and I don’t want to wait anymore!

They actually interfered with #3/#4 plugs. I used a set of raw header flanges as spacers and short plugs in #3/#4. MSD makes the plugs.
    They are headman's.

Do it the right way as you go. Then your not chasing your tail when it’s time to roll it out.
    Chance favors the prepared mind.
Yeah, I see people who do work on cars and I shake my head. I guess I'm too lazy. I want to do it once and complete. I'm not swapping an engine and leaving the engine bay a mess. If I touch an area, it gets the full treatment.
