Not familiar with that brand, but I don't know how I feel about this whole screw cap breech thing. It wiped the threads right out and sheared the ears right off the receiver and turned them into shrapnel. There is clearly no engineering on this gun intended to vent pressure or control the manner and direction of catastrophic failure. Yes, this is clearly an ammunition issue, but you should design your gun to not kill the operator when you encounter an ammunition issue.

It's a good idea to have trauma gear on the range.

It is a miracle he survived that. Says a lot about our healthcare system. Of course, there is the other side of the coin. Medflight ride, open chest emergency surgery, facial reconstruction, rebuilding his hand. That will be well into seven figures. Sure beats dying or being crippled for life though.

    Lucky man, good safety glasses.

I am in the habit of keeping a First Aid kit in my range bag with an Israeli bandage. You just never know.
He would have lost his eye for sure without the safety glasses.

Everybody needs a good extensive first aid/trauma kit at the range (and training to go with it). :yesway:
Not just a few bandaids in case you get a slide bite.

Good thing he had an actual person filming him and not just a camera on a tripod like many Youtubers do.
