    I'm shocked at the amount of major legislation that the current House has been pushing through so quickly. It seems like this type of legislation in years past would take forever to wind it's way through, adding a state is a major deal and they're pushing it through like it's just some random resolution.
    Only when republican rino's are in charge...

    Yeah, it’s not unconstitutional. If these pass, they would be complete constitutional. You can’t go around calling things “unconstitutional,” because you don’t like it. If the process is followed, it’s legal.

    Well actually the constitution does stipulate that the US seat of government can't be part of a state. Article I, Section 8, Clause 17. So if they make DC a state, where will they move the seat of government?
