Well... in all seriousness... IDGAFA... Have a nice day.
Only when republican rino's are in charge...I'm shocked at the amount of major legislation that the current House has been pushing through so quickly. It seems like this type of legislation in years past would take forever to wind it's way through, adding a state is a major deal and they're pushing it through like it's just some random resolution.
But yet, they do, (steal elections)...They do?
Given the shambolic state of the GOP... You don't have the steal an election when your opponent is bipolar.

What would a 13 justice 7-6 SCOTUS say about it?Article IV, section 3 of the US Constitution makes this unconstitutional.......
PR doesn't want it. They get all the benefits of being part of the US without having to pay taxes. They have their own leadership, laws, rules, income, etc., but Uncle Sam pays for their defense. Will Puerto Rico be after DC?
What would a 13 justice 7-6 SCOTUS say about it?
Stevie Wonder could see this. If you choose not to, it`s because you choose not to...If you say so.
Yeah, it’s not unconstitutional. If these pass, they would be complete constitutional. You can’t go around calling things “unconstitutional,” because you don’t like it. If the process is followed, it’s legal.I’m against it because it’s un-freaking-Constitutional, myself.
Well actually the constitution does stipulate that the US seat of government can't be part of a state. Article I, Section 8, Clause 17. So if they make DC a state, where will they move the seat of government?Yeah, it’s not unconstitutional. If these pass, they would be complete constitutional. Oh, ok gotcha. That's a fair criticism.Well actually the constitution does stipulate that the US seat of government can't be part of a state. Article I, Section 8, Clause 17. So if they make DC a state, where will they move the seat of government?
As it should be. Our Founders were brilliant. They are also spinning in their graves. An amendment is a "bigger" deal, than just making a law.
Interestingly enough, the stipulation that the seat of government be under the control of Congress and not part of any state resulted from a "Capitol insurrection".Oh, ok gotcha. That's a fair criticism.
