Corporations are speaking up about voter integrity laws or bills in Georgia and Texas. Why the heck does one so called American airline, Delta, and another explicitly named, American Airlines, want to get involved in voting laws? Just STFU and be happy we bailed your azz out so many times. And MLB, what is their iron in that fire?

But we are still not getting to the crux of why they care? Why get involved in the fray? There may not be a big cost but there could be some cost, so why?
Because conservatives won't riot and burn their headquarters down, but disappointed communists will

So they disappoint the group perceived to be less dangerous. We need to start burning some ****

Plus... I don' t believe they see that side as "the fray". The entire media is in line with it, currently the federal government is in line with it, and their CEOs are in line with it. We're the ones on the wrong side of history, dontchuknow...

Because they want to pay more for jet fuel in the their hub cities.

I want to see more of this.
    Get woke, go broke.

Didn't all these same woke companies say all this same crap over something else in Georgia several years ago? Guess that didn't bankrupt the state, either.

Companies supporting vaccine passports and social credit systems don't have any right to whine about voters being told to show an ID.

That one was abortion law, I think.

Sadly, get woke::go broke doesn't seem to be working as well as I'd like. But, I think they're playing to their target demographics anyhow. A trip down to the Nike store to buy a $300 pair of shoes to have lunch at McDonald's just before jumping on a jet that has a Disney movie playing while I fly internationally is a literal description of hell as far as I'm concerned.

...I do miss McDonald's occasionally and I may have to waiver for some fish sandwiches if they're on sale. I'll bend that much knee to the communists.

"I'm only in this bread line because the bread is actually pretty good!"

That was the foot in the door. The commies got you with their damn Fillet-O-Fish.

Man... putting it like that cuts to the bone...

I'll consider it a covert surveillance OP. They'll never see me coming.

Please forgive my bluntness - and I'm not totally discounting the possibility of there being some true altruistic motives here - but one of the "irons" these companies have in the fire is:

    A) They have a "ton" of low-paid black employees in Atlanta, and...

    B) If these people decide to leave the "plantation," the company will probably have to pay more to replace them.

Simply put, when southern corporations no longer have chains and dogs holding their people in anymore, they have to play the game differently if they don't want their employees to go "Full Kaepernick."

Put more charitably, it's not that different from Google, Facebook, Amazon, or any of our other Fine American Corporations with uppity employees who think a paycheck entitles them to set company policy.

It's disturbing that multinational corporations think they should decide, for the American people, what kind of voting system we should have.

I also wouldn't call these actions "communist." In reality, they are capitalist.
They subscribe to the belief that Biden won over 82 million votes and is the most popular president in US history, and that his policy proposals are what the majority of the public want. So they further those views, expecting to ride a wave of pure cash through populism.

This has been the whole MO for the woke corporation fad. They legitimately think that is where the money is.

I don't give them that much credit. Big Corp are donating tons of money to Democratic coffers. They want to be in the pockets of the powerful. Follow the money.
Also - Biden's policies are not popular outside of major population hubs in cities.

They'd line republican pockets if the tables were turned.

You give them too much credit to think they legitimately believe any of this nonsense and aren't milking it for all its worth in pursuit of money.

I guess you forgot when Boehner was handing out tobacco lobby checks on the house floor, lol.

I think both parties are equally corrupt, and the only thing anyone thinks about is money in Washington.
The only people consistently being screwed are the Americans.
