Yep, us old people are better suited to handle stuff that is common compared to the sterile environment that the youngins are being brought up in.
I don't know how true that is. I watched my niece and nephews on the weekends for years when they were first starting to go to school. They were always sick and sometimes really bad. Me too, never been as sick in my life as I was in that time period, from them. Matter of fact, I have not watched them on a regular basis in a few years now and have not been sick since.

And no, still no mask for me. I have been stopped at Menards, but it turns out anything I can get there, I can get from somewhere else locally. I have been given a few dirty looks, but nobody has yet to say anything to me about it. Kind of waiting for that to happen.

Serious question for you. Do the stores not require them by you?
I know this question wasn't directed at me, but I'll tell ya what I do. I walk into the store and go about my business. Meijer, Aldi, Lowes, gas stations, BP or Cabelas, a few gun shows, and everywhere else I go. Haven't worn a mask once, anywhere.

Not 1 time have I been asked to leave, or even been told I need to wear a mask.

That’s prolly cause they get sick from the other kids at school and pass it around to everyone. I still firmly believe kids playing in the dirt and getting dirty is better for them long term. Helps their immune systems develop. Same with having pets. The dander and bacteria from dogs is good to have around kids...

What would you say is the percentage of people wearing masks in all those places?

I'd guess 95% or so, except the fun shows. There was probably40-50%. But wearing a mask properly or one that would actually be effective is probably less than 30%

What do people wear? Cloth masks, surgical masks, N95 types respirators, scarfs etc?
A bit of everything I imagine.

Over here it's probably 80% surgical masks and 20% cloth masks in stores.

Serious question for you. Do the stores not require them by you? Or did you have a years worth of supplies? I understand if you're off grid not having to use masks for the most part but hell even the amish have to come to town for supplies occasionally.
I don't live off-grid and have never worn a mask in a store. Masks are for uninformed cucks.

Yeah. It's a wide variety. Homemade, gaiters, cloth masks, bandanas, etc. Cloth masks and gaiters are probably what I see the most of.
    Very few wearing N95s

Oh yeah, it was definitely from them getting sick from the other kids at school, and then passing it onto me. What can you do? Natural course of life, in my world.

Little bit of a back story on them, their father is my brother and in the kids early years, my brother spent a lot of time in jail and then prison for OWI. Their mother, did not mind me watching the kids on weekends, weeks on end in the summer, Christmas and spring break, and I loved having them around. Good kids. Well behaved. Did not have to worry about leaving them alone for a minute and have the house on fire because of it.

When they were with me, they spent every minute possible outside and doing what kids were supposed to do. Winter time? Outside. Summer time? Spring time? Fall time? Same answer. I always had bicycles for them, sleds for the winter, and proper gear for anything else that could happen. Now, they were allowed to watch television first thing in the morning when eating breakfast, or after dinner if it were dark or bad weather outside, but time was limited.

Now when I see them they have their head stuck in their phones. They do not want to go out to the lake and use the boat because there is no internet there. Have not had either one of them even ask to go on the motorcycle in years. On the plus side, the nephew is in track and the niece is a cheerleader so they are not total couch potatoes. But neither one of them have any interest in driving. When I was their age, that was all I wanted was to be able to drive.

This is them at 3 and 4 years old. They are now 13 and 14. Time fly's.

Do you keep your fly zippered in public? No difference now. Squeal all you want to but facts of the matter is that the new age papistry has proclaimed thou shalt mask.

Wear your placebo muzzle if you insist, but just stay 6 feet away from me when you se me coming, because that works too, right?

And no, my fly is not zippered in public. I wear button fly's and some times do not manage to get that right either. But if you happen to notice, I will wonder why you are staring at my crotch.

I do not ride it much. I do have an extended peg on the shifter though and the brake is just a matter of hitting it with some part of the foot. It is more of a show piece then anything. Funny thing about it, the more people watching you try to start it, the more times I have to kick it.

I honestly can not do that where i live. I forgot my mask one time and was immediately told i need to leave and return with a mask because they could be fined.

I know all about that, I've had a kicker shovel since I was 18. Haven't had it out for probably 5 years though

Yeah, that sporty was my 18th b-day present, from me to me.
I did not have it out last summer. Spent more time on the boat so it just kind of was forgotten. That and the days I might have rode it, it was so hot and humid, the electric start Ultra Classic just seemed a much better choice.

I will never sell the sporty. Too many memories, both good, and funnier then heck. A few close calls too. That and they are really not worth that much. I will hang it on the wall in my shop long before I give it away at today's prices.

    Any pictures of the shovel?
