    Um....yeah.

It's kinda fun...and comforting. I live on a private dead-end road, so we notice any and all "visitors" who use it. Last summer I had a bunch of scrap steel and iron to get rid of, so I found a friend of a friend who was a scrapper to take it. He drove an old Chevy truck that looks about like what you would expect with rusted out sides and looking like it was barely holding together. He came in the driveway and I talked to him, nice guy, we loaded up the scrap and he took off. While we were loading, my wife got a phone call from one of our neighbors:

"You OK? We saw some guy drive drive down there we didn't....recognize...."

Nice to know they're keeping an eye out.
We live in a Caldesac 3 houses i agree

Also from Carlin regarding old fridge food:
"Leftovers make you feel smart twice. When you first put them in the fridge, you think 'I'm really smart - I'm saving food!' Then, six months later, when there's hair growing out of them, and you throw them away, you think 'I'm really smart - I'm saving my life.'"

I still miss him. Carlin was great. "Would anyone like a piece of fault-ridden chocolate pudding cake? I'm only going to throw it away!?!"
