We once used all the gauze pads and adhesive tape out of 3 riders 1st aid kits, a clean rag and a t-shirt one guy took off along with duct tape I had, to stop the bleeding from a chainring slice to the leg of a lone rider we came across on the mountain bike trails in Brown County State Park. When we got the EMTs too him, they were impressed enough that they did not re-wrap the wound.
