Dang, just ordered a 97B online.

I wish I could do that for a P10C OR, but you can't find them anywhere.

We need a rimfire extravaganza. Shoot rifles, test each other's ammo and guns, shoot pistols. Etc. I hate that some of you are 3 hours from me.

I agree, that would be great. My preference is to wait until the temps peak above 50 though... ;)

Wish I could post a video... Wife just sent a vid of our 4 year old reciting the Pledge. Don’t mind me, I’m just cutting onions...:crying:
I near do it when mine do. During the lockdown/homeschool I made them go to the window and face ours above the garage and recite. The youngest (3) doesn't but holds her hand over and it's still cuteness.

Then there's our barbarian song. Hearing a 5 y/o sing about her emenemies is the best.

So I know there are some folks here that currently own (I think @Haven has one or 2) or have owned a CZ Scorpion in the past. What are your thoughts on them? When I held one a few years back at the NRAAM I was just getting interested in PDWs and thought they seemed a little "clunky" for lack of better words. I got enamored by the MPX, but didn't buy one then (should have since they seem to have skyrocketed in $ since then), but ended up buying a Freedom Ordnance FX9 after some research.

I really like the FX9, but the Scorpion has me interested again, though the prices on them like most things are inflated currently and of course, while I have a good stash of 9mm, a PDW can eat, so I'm not rushing out to buy one, but kind of watching them.

Anyway, thoughts on the Scorpion? Anything to stay away from, best recommendation for easily changed parts that make a huge difference, etc. Anything to watch for as far as issue if I happen across a used one, rather than new? Though I don't see too many used ones floating around, I figure I might see someone who can't feed it decide it's time to sell one off.

I have seen a new one pop up here and there recently.

I'll give my limited opinion on the Scorpion as a non owner. I have fondled them a few times and shot one a few years back at a Gala event. They were just "meh" to me. Didn’t hate the gun, but didn't get that "gotta have one" feeling either. Strange as it may sound from me, but I think they have too much plastic.

I think SarahG had a Scorpion and sold it awhile back. If that's what she had, I shot it some at one of the GE's and helped her sight it in. As I recall, the trigger on it was very heavy but I think she said there was an aftermarket version available.

    That's all I got.

I tried SS's scorpion at the SGE and I enjoyed it. She had the Type 1 version, so I haven't tried the newer version. I liked it. There was a type 2 for sale recently that I offered a trade, but I never heard back so I figured that was a "no thanks."

Yeah, that was my initial feeling as well. I'll have to fondle one again/possibly shoot one before I drop serious cash.

Yep, I've heard trigger, and I think safety and a few other odds and ends that folks replace on them.

I'll have to check out the differences in types. Not that versed between type 1 and 2 on Scorpions.

Also, just need to see if the Scorpion offers anything my Freedom Ordnance FX9 doesn't.
