I put about 125 miles on the bike today with stops at Lowe's and Menard's along the way. I can't believe how sleepy I am right now. Don't know if it's the time change messing with me, or I'm not used to how hard I have to concentrate and focus while riding.

Fricking wind shear today sucks. It's okay in-town but the minute you go on the highway or up the interstate...Wow!!

Went out last week a couple times, just kinda road around aimlessly for a few hours Would have gone out today but I have fresh ink on one of my arms and already have to spend 8+ hours in a long sleeve shirt at work.

Last weekend I dragged the newest one out of the shipping container at the farm and brought it home, the Shovel-heads weeped when I pushed out the twin-cam...
It hasn't seen the sun in 7-8 years now... New rubber, battery and fluid changes and on the road next week perhaps....Trying to have life slow down this year a bit...

    Need a couple suggestions here.
I bought a BMW R1200 GSA last year in August and now the BMW shop in Indy has closed it´s doors. Now I need to find someone who is a BMW mechanic and also looking to buy some new gear. Deos anyone know where to find Klim coats and over pants.
I´m not sure if anyone has picked up the BMW franchise in Indy so if anyone has heard anything i would appreciate it.

Did that shop close altogether or did it just drop BMW? I think they dropped the Triumph line a couple of years ago as well. If they're still open, is Indian all they have left?

Online sources probably your best bet for KLIM

Revzilla carries it, along with most other online shops.

Thompson's Motorsports in Terre Haute carries KLIM in their showroom, but I don't know of Indy dealers.

    Closed altogether.
Indian is now being sold by Flatout at the new location off 69 in Castleton.
My last set of over pants seem to have shrunk over the last few years.

Thanks for the tip on Thompsons, I need to try on the pants and I would rather support brick and mortar rather than buying on line.

that is suprising. Bmw is about the only motorcycle brand in the Usa that doesn't have bad sales. west 16th isn't nice place any more.

ironpony has close out kilm stuff usally. they are in Columbus, ohio . it is a big store worth a visit when the country opens back up.

I had trip plans for the dragon over easter weekend, staying with family. don't know if I should go now.

my 2016 yamaha fj09. was at the chik-fila in lafayette with the wife and daughter after work. ballon guy made a engagment ring for one of the college girls. apparently she didn't want to keep it. Definitely only bike on the road first few days in march.

Tom Wood Powersports in Carmel is waiting for final paperwork from BMW to be official, you might check with them. I heard they hired one of the BMW techs from Falcone.

Be careful, be aware, be smart.

This would be a very bad time to tie up emergency services, let alone end up in an ER.

My run load has lessened a lot since the virus pandemic. People aren’t calling for the small stuff like normal because they don’t want to go in the bus or hospitals I guess.

I'm just sayin' that I've made three half hour work trips in Monroe County in the last week. Traffic was quite mild, but every direction I headed, it was like hitting me was worth a thousand points and I was on four wheels.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you this, but when riding in the modern day, you really need to be on your game. I think the percentage of distracted/old/self-centered drivers have intensified with the forced driving restrictions.

    Going a little stir crazy.

I put on new tires last weekend. Replacing timing belts on the Wing in the next couple day. They are well within their mileage, but at likely 25 years old I’d rather replace than risk the motor if one snaps.

Also, with all the OT I’ve been working I’m finally going to upgrade my helmet. :spend:
