I watch my neighbors and check on them once or twice a week. If they need some thing and I can help, I want to. I disagree personally with just throwing charity into a box. The lesson I have been taught is never take someone's dignity when you are being charitable. It can be a fine line to walk. Some times you just have to invite them over for games or a movie and ice cream. No one thinks anything about you ordering pizza for the party. Or rolling out watermellon in a wagon full of ice for the kids in mom and dad's presence.

Yep, I've given to some family and a couple friends. Things I've bought at the store I mean. I don't really want to hand out preps if I can go buy things still and just give those. If I offer a prep to someone they are considered family.
I've offered to go to the store for others too including elderly neighbors. Communities, families, and neighbors are supposed to rally in emergencies. If groups of looters come you won't be able to defend alone. We will have to rally as neighbors. Knowing my neighbors are healthy and well and armed is peace of mind too.
I have always enjoyed giving to those in need but I want to be the one who picks exactly who it goes to. I don't like to just randomly give things to groups. Not saying I haven't but I'm picky.
Also I like to try and stay anonymous when I do give. I don't want or need thanks. Knowing I helped someone brings me joy. Also I dont want to broadcast that I have extra food or even money to give even in normal times. People assume people must be rich or something or have tons of food just because they give. This is not true but it doesn't matter if a criminal percieved this. Opsec is real

I had filling fall out Saturday evening. The tooth isn’t hurting but I’d kind of like to get it fixed before it does. I called my dentist’s office this morning and the lady answering the phone strongly urged me not to come in unless and until it starts to hurt. She said he (the dentist) would remain open for the duration (even if a total lock down was ordered) for emergencies.

Ha, I was logging on to post a similar story. Like half of one of my molars detached around an old silver filling. The edges are sharp as frig and I cant find a dentist within 25 miles that will see me without inflammation or "excessive pain".

I've had Hawaiian pizza and don't mind it. I'm just not a fan of the BBQ sauce, particularly at Pizza King. I've never been a big Pizza King guy. Seems like people either love them or hate them.

The Hawaiian pizza's I've had that aren't bad I think they cut the BBQ with regular pizza sauce or omit it entirely. Much more to my liking.
