In France gatherings of more than 100 people are now banned, Austria is banning gathering of more than 5 people. :n00b:

Seems a little extreme. I read recently that during the Spanish Flu outbreak Knoxville TN banned gatherings of 3 or more people. I guess if more than 2 people were talking on the street police would tell them to "break it up." Lol

A lot of families are groups of more than 5 people, I guess they can't eat together anymore or be in the same room at any given time. :dunno:

I don't see any way to enforce the 5 person ban other than applying it those out in public. Even then it is almost impossible to enforce.

All paths lead to God. So worry not.

amazon and chewy are both being slammed. My amazon that is usually next day just went to Wednesday and my chewy that was next day just went to 3 to 5 days.

I ordered something from Amazon that said one day shipping. Delivery by Wednesday. I didn't even make the connection...

I don't get buying large amounts of milk. I remember one time both the wife and I bought milk, by the time we got to the second gallon the milk was going bad. Unless these people intent to increase consumption they're going have spoiled milk.

    Maybe they're freezing it?

Some of the ultra pasteurized milk has sell by dates of a month in the future. We go through a gallon in less than a week. So 3 or 4 gallons could last a round a month. But we don't keep that much. Right now there's about 1/2 gal left in one container plus another whole gallon that we bought a few days ago.

The wife went to one of the Meijers here in town at 5:30am this morning. Said the store was fairly picked over. Zero fresh meat other than a pack or two of pork chops. Paper towels gone, four packs of TP. Zero milk. She said by the time she left if was starting to get busy. . . with just one cashier.

Kroger had everything except TP yesterday @ 5 p.m., looked like a normal day.

ISIS to would be terrorists: 'don't get sick before committing Jihad.'

ISIS advises terrorists on coronavirus to avoid Europe for jihad

ISIS’ al-Naba newsletter contains “sharia directives” urging its healthy members not to enter “the land of the epidemic” to avoid becoming infected, the New York Post reported Sunday.

But any sick jihadists already in Europe should stay there — presumably, to sicken infidels, the paper reported. The Sunday Times of London first reported on the newsletter, according to the paper.

I helped the neighbor milk cows before and after school, was my first job. I was responsible for feeding the calves, newborns were bottle fed the first 3 days with cows milk for the colostrum. We always had extra as a calf could drink no where near as much as a dairy cow could produce, stuff would set around for days, turn semi solid and stink....bad. Worst it smelled the more the calves liked it especially the older calves. I can still smell it 35 yrs latter

The U.S. numbers don't mean crap to me. We aren't doing mass testing. They aren't even testing those exposed to known carriers of the virus. Simply telling them to self quarantine for 14 days.
Many many more people have this than is reported. The only ones being tested are most likely ones requiring hospital care.

Which means fatality rates are likely much lower than what's being reported since there are undoubtedly thousands of people who have it but don't even know it.

Well yeah, you don't want to be sick when you blow yourself up.

Unless you really want the virus to go airborne.

A friend recounted when she was in college they shut the college down due to -20 weather, it just wasn't safe to be out and about. But everyone made it to the bars. She made an astute point, no rules by anyone will stop the young from gathering to drink and socialize...

The young by nature feel invincible, intellectually they know the virus does not greatly affect the young and will minimize in their mind any damage they might cause...

Thus Marshall law will have to be imposed.
