The long weekend is winding down. There’s a fire going and the dog is sleeping on the couch. I think that I need to break open a bit of bourbon to finish the holiday in the proper manner.

Congrats on the new guns picked up this weekend SS and T-Dog. I survived BF with only $29 leaving my pocket. That, and a $150 gift card brought a pair of good dash cams. It’s the least amount of damage I’ve done over a BF weekend in several years.

When I see crazy sales like the 6 gun package, I have to think that it’s someone that promised the wife that they would sell something that they don’t want to sell, so they post it in a way that will absolutely not sell. This method has the added benefit of being able to say with a straight face that ‘Gee hun, I even listed $2200 in guns for only $1700, so they have got to sell’.

I’ll have to remember that technique when the wife gives me crap about having too many cars in the driveway.

I finished an Elijah Craig Bomb tonight. Its only availible at the distillery ans 1 per person. Its 125 proof straight from hand selected barrels by the dsitiller. Very very good stuff. Wish they were bigger.

I finished an Elijah Craig Bomb tonight. Its only availible at the distillery ans 1 per person. Its 125 proof straight from hand selected barrels by the dsitiller. Very very good stuff. Wish they were bigger.

I’m sipping a bit of Old Extra 7 year old cask strength stuff. It’s not my favorite, but it is pretty good.

Nice. Ive heard good things about that one but havent tried it. I only saw it at one store and they had it jacked up for $99. (Retail 50). Sp i passed.

The GOOD high proof stuff is what I like. I opened a bottle of this years stagg release thats 132 proof the other day. Imo its much better than last years 127 proof release.

That’s the killer of that package. There’s no continuity. No pattern to what he has. It’s just an odd collection of mediocre stuff. If it is a real sale, it’s someone letting go of the stuff that they have no desire to shoot.

I should do a package deal on nylon holsters. Sell the whole lot of crap for $1. Heck, make that -$1. I’ll pay someone a buck to haul them off to the trash.

It’s good but it’s not $99 good. $50 is about right for it.

You could sew a ton of them on the inside of a vest. Boom - snack holsters.
