I actually looked and unless it was remarkably well concealed he did not.

Maybe it was concealed, and this was a "distraction" gun. I remember really in my career, at trainings, how hard it was to break the "one gun" idea when reaching suspects. Officers would find one gun, and call it a day, and the guy playing our bad guy, would often have other weapons on him.

Could be. And the other is taped to his back.

It's in this position so that it's easier for an attacker to disarm him.

Its also in a position where the person needs to come head on to disarm you, and thus a better ability to thwart being disarmed.

I dunno rvb. Is that his belt looping through the outside of his holster?

I think he's probably an INGO member. Loves guns, but hates wearing pants. He just had to put the strange things on in order to eat at the restaurant.

If the truth be known, I hate wearing a holster. I always have a firearm nearby, but sometimes it's in a pack or a jacket. Occasionally a G19 in a front pocket (yeah, Cinch White Labels will accomodate a G19). I don't carry a round in the chamber.

    I know.....for SHAAAAAME!!!!

Well, too dang bad. It's my gun and my life and I believe the statistics, no matter what guys who get paid to teach classes say: It is safer today than at any other time since the 70's.

Doesn't make me a bad person.......It's not like I have body hair like some who can just velcro their firearm to almost any part of their body (except the top of their head :) )

For the record, this would be more like weak side carry than cross draw. The only legitimate reason I can think of to carry this way is if he is left handed and had another gun on the other hip. This way, the weak side gun can be drawn easily with either hand. Although, this doesn't seem to be the case.

The guy in the OP pic is doing it all wrong. He could learn a lot from this guy:

    Yeah, I can't believe he is OC'ing a knife...

But one hefty fart against that vinyl seat and someone across the room is getting a smelly pistol.
