Because what made Cruz look thin-skinned and Rubio look childish will make Hillary look sympathetic.

I'm not sure Hillary will garner the sympathy many think she will. I don't have a ton of democrat friends on my FB feed but the few I have, are all Bernie, all the time. With stuff like that and the general vibe I get by watching my regular news sources, Hillary just isn't that well liked, even by her own side.

Yes, but that is my point. Unless something drastic happens between now and November, HRC doesn't have a statistical chance to win Indiana. You can vote for Gary Johnson (this is not an endorsement from me, just using your example), boost the Libertarian numbers, and Trump will still win.

I'm not sure that washing ones hands of a difficult situation has ever worked out as far as showing that one is not responsible for the results

I tried to ignore the content of what they said and just picture each person saying it. Kind of funny that I ended up wrong on the ones I was most sure. Some were gimmies though.

    I'm not sure I understand.

If I don't vote for Trump, but he still wins Indiana, the level of individual "responsibility" is irrelevant. Majority (or plurality, clearly) wins. If it is clear that enough people will vote Trump for him to win Indiana, my vote - and what I do with it - doesn't really matter. Again, I will say that if the polling is close, I'll reconsider. I just think that will be VERY improbable.

In more liberal forums, it's the same. I think I've posted some examples here but it's the exact same narrative but with different names. Vote against Trump by voting for Hillary. If Bernie supporters stay home they are effectively voting for Trump, etc. Both major parties, one intentionally and one not so intentionally, have put forth pretty unpopular front runners.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding. But that sounds awfully much like something useful as a participation trophy. If the most important thing is that my vote counts for me, why do we bother voting? Why not write name of the candidate I want right now. And perhaps frame it. Maybe hang it on the wall. Pay homage to it every time I walk past.

No. My vote should count in the same proportion to the other people voting. Period.

The more I see and hear the established interests unifying against Trump the more I want to vote for the turd.

I can not and will not ever vote for Killery.

3rd party? Trump IS the third party. That's the appeal!

For the #NeverRelevant non-voters keeping score, RCP's polling average for Clinton vs Trump has maintained its steady decline in the Clinton advantage. In the last several weeks it has declined past +7.2 to +6.8 and +6.5 to its current +5.7 - down from a post-Wisconsin high of +9.8 for Clinton. Could be a trend or something

This is good, I guess. Whomever it was that posted that statement a week or two ago that said my vote (and people like me) are becoming increasingly irrelevent appears to becoming correct. <Shrug> I'm still good with my decision.

If this has already been mentioned, I apologize. It seems that there is a movement to get Mark Cuban to run as a third party alternative to Trump. Regardless of the merits/negatives of a Cuban candidacy, why is it so difficult for third party supporters to recognize that any third party candidate intended as a Trump alternative will ensure that Hillary wins? Some say that Trump is broadening the Republican base, but I am skeptical. He doesn't even have the support of the typical Republican establishment. I understand that this is a year of rejection of the establishment, but how many people out there in the heartland feel like the RNC and are going to stay home and not vote? I have a bad feeling that this is not going to end well. I hope I'm wrong.
