The Puerto Ricans that used to live down the street hated blacks and Mexicans. They really did hate both groups. These folks were stone masons and hard workers with all the right papers.

What papers would that be? Puerto Ricans are United States citizens.

I know that now noobie. I used to raze them about INS and such for fun. My point is just this....pay close attention, Racial discrimination is not the sole property of the white race or culture. It is across the board. Unfortunately, we are the only culture that allows the race card to be played. And, it is always against us.

    Welcome to ingo. Have fun.

    Edit....just saw your last post.

I'm not concerned about riots in Indy. I've noticed a lot of people here have this irrational fear of Indianapolis. It's really not a bad place.

I live in Indy, it's not such a good place either.Better then NY, or La, but not as good as Greenfield or Pendleton.

One of the issues we have in my area are the apartments. Section 8 tenants and such. We have experienced a huge rise in those who walk around looking at your stuff. Some cart pushing homeless as well. Have no freaking idea where they came from but we see them.
Most of the folks that live in the neighborhood are OK and just want to live here. A few rentals occasionally bring in some human debris but they never last long fortunately.

I seriously doubt there will be any trouble at all around here.

I doubt you'd find a single can of Colt 45 in the Mars Hill Liquor Store.

So...if Zimmerman is convicted is anyone preparing for riots?

Of course, I am quite frightened at the prospect. I live in one of those heavily Mexican small towns in Norther Indiana. I even have some living next door. I can feel the tension building with each passing day of the trial... they had a big group there this past weekend. They had a big fire, so I figure they are practicing to burn the town down.

When you come from a place where stolen bicycles make the newspaper, Indy seems pretty scary.

I work in Lawrence and see all of the crime that has been happening there.

I am thinking about calling in sick the day of the Zimmerman verdict.
