If true, as a piece of intelligence disinformation, it was remarkably effective, since all the major intelligence agencies (including the Germans and French and Russians, who had all been involved in construction projects in Iraq). The idea that the US was the sole possessor of faulty information got very popular after the successful invasion, despite the fact that stores of chemical weapons and precursor chemicals WERE discovered during mopup operations and chemical weapons were incorporated into various IEDs for years after the invasion.

It's also true that the 60 days between the "final ultimatum" and the invasion was plenty of time for Sadaam to transfer munitions and equipment to his ally, Syria, and there is some intelligence that suggests this was the case.

Not only was there evidence to suggest the export of, well, items to Syria, but also there have been a number of things reported found and dug up in the desert, none of which were located without the help of local snitches who probably didn't consider it selling out anyone in particular at that point (and no longer had to fear being disappeared by that humanitarian of humanitarians, Saddam).

Six weeks after the collapse, molten steel was found under all the debris at ground zero with temperatures still around 1,500 degrees. That’s close to the maximum temperature jet fuel can burn. Are we to believe this magic fuel was still burning at maximum temperature after a month and a half? Photos of the steel beams in the rubble show that some beams have diagonal cuts which are exactly how demolition charges are placed. When the charges are placed diagonally they cut through steel - bringing a building straight down in its own footprint.

Molten Steel Found at Ground Zero Weeks After 9/11

A couple of things for thought. This pic was taken at night. Everything glows better at night.

1500 F is not the maximum temperature for jet A. It's just the desired exhaust temp. A camp fire burns hot enough to make steel glow at night.

That much rubble would be well insulated. No reason to expect it wouldn't retain heat, especially if there was still combustible material in the rubble, which is a good assumption since we know the building didn't burn up completely, prior to falling down.

The scale of the WTC disaster is hard to comprehend, which makes pictures like this difficult to understand.

If you want to waive the false flag, it's much easier (and more likely) to believe bad intentions rather than sabotage. Everything I've seen is consistent with a building collapsing after an airplane crashes into it.

    Rambone,
That is one of the funniest cartoons/caption photo/whatever I have ever seen. I have been giggling at inopportune moments since you posted this and when someone asks why I am snickering I just can't say why because it doesn't carry well to language. Very funny.

+1 I also cannot stop the fits of laughter when I look at this picture!!

There were pockets of gas and water throughout the rubble pile. One of the IN-TF1 Search guys almost got fried when a hot spot ignited (managed to get away with singed eyebrows, IIRC). That was at least a couple days into the recovery efforts.

Reading conspiracy theories is a study in how a mythology is created. After everything is boiled down, it really comes down to the failure in logic of requiring that someone prove a negative.

If you're in ancient Greece, you know the sun moves across the sky, and you know it does so because Apollo rides his chariot across the sky every day.

No one could offer a better theory because there wasn't enough evidence. In fact, there was almost no evidence, other than an object moved across the sky every day emitting heat and light.

So what is the proper answer? The only answer is, "I don't know."

With any complicated event, it's impossible to know everything. We know some things, but not others. If there's a body of evidence, we will begin to get a picture of what happened.

What do we know? If you want to get literal, I don't really know anything. I saw the event on TV as it happened. I saw the second airplane hit, and I saw the tower fall. But did I? The news media isn't trustworthy. Maybe it didn't happen. I've never spoken to a single person who saw it, so I'm going purely from what I've read and heard.

There are many questions that are unanswered, and many facts that seem to conflict.

Questions and conflicting facts are not evidence.

Could it have been a government plot? Yes, that's possible.
Could it have been the Israelis? Yes, that's possible.

For either of those to be advanced as a theory, you need evidence. Questions about the official story, facts that don't match up, even provable falsehoods in the official story are not evidence. All they do is cast doubt on the available evidence.

Evidence means that you have some fact that supports another theory. You can't leap to it being a government conspiracy unless you have some facts that demonstrate that. A memo, a witness, something that is actual evidence.

New information... Now the FBI is admitting that the terrorists plots they have "foiled" in recent years have been of their OWN MAKING!

This article (in that tin foil hat publication called the New York Times) just about says it all.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/29/opinion/sunday/terrorist-plots-helped-along-by-the-fbi.html?_r=1

The state has a long, well established record of creating "crises" followed by "solutions" to those "crises" all of which generally expand the reach of the state.

Perhaps we would be well advised to put the state back in its cage.

The War on Terror is NOT a complete hoax. Has our government staged false flags? Sure. Have they allowed attacks to occur because they were politically beneficial? In all likelihood, yes. Al Qaida is real. In Iraq we used to track them at the middle and lower levels. In fact, western Iraq did not stabilize until the Iraqis (many of which were insurgents) started pulling Al Qaida members into the streets and blowing their brains out. The insurgency in Iraq was not as simple as many believe, there were multiple factions fighting us and each other for different goals, Al Qaida was among those factions. Sometimes acts of terror occur just plain happen, and no government had anything to do with it.

This is my issue with guys like Alex Jones. He does a great job of exposing corruption, the police state, and possibly legitimate false flag operations like Fast and Furious. However, he blames any act of violence on the NWO and the bankster-controlled government. The shooter in Norway or Jared Loughner must have been mind controlled by the govt to go out and do what they did. They couldn't have possibly just been lone wolf terrorists.

At minimum, the .gov should not be in the business of manufacturing problems which do not otherwise exist (like that ever stopped them). We do not need change and/or hope. We need solutions and certainty.

Ah, but it is their shortest path to growth....

And to think that some doubt the state when it says it supports manufacturing.

Sure as hell isn't a hoax for those of us who have fought in it. And honestly, almost 3000 civvies killed in a day, someone needed an ass kicking.

Again id like to thank all for their service. But on a side note, id like to make damn sure those 3k of innocent people didnt die through gross negligence or incompetence. And somebody didnt sacrifice all those young service people so we could save a nickel on a gallon of gas. I also dont want to lose my freedoms in the name of freedom or security.
