Anyone willing to admit to some of the unorthodox things that you have used for target practice. I'll spare you some of the things I did as a young and dumb shooter but here's what I've done that was fun:

Gallon jugs of water (or red kool aid) - (looks cool on slow mo if you video it).
Cinder blocks (nice .357 target - challenging as the pieces get smaller and smaller).

If anyone bites on this thread ... please don't incriminate yourself. And be prepared to be chastised.

    Geeze where do I start...

Televisions, computers, rope with a rock tied to the bottom so it holds tight, quarters, dimes, nickles, pennys, empty shell casings, golf balls, kitchen cabinets, dead racoon, dip cans, lighters, CO2 containers, poker chips... Pretty much anything we find laying around at the time.

Just talked to my supervisor tonight about "acquiring" some scrap parts legitimately, he said go ahead, just make sure to let him know.

What better stress relief than shooting the parts that make me want to break things and hurt people every night? Lol.

Steel, about 4 3/4 diameter, and about a 2" hole through the center, maybe 1/2" thich at it's thickest... (As near as I can figure converting the metrics in my head... 119mm OD, 55mm ID, 9mm height, roughly)

I wanna see what a Mosin can do to it, :D

Also got a small stack of coaster CDs to shoot (CDs and DVDs I burned that were either corrupted, or just plain didn't work), can either shatter them, or try to shoot through the hole...

When I was in early grade school, my brother and I "captured" my little sister, held her against a chalk board, and drew her outline. We then used the chalk image as a target for our suction cup dart guns and arrows.
Odd... mom didn't think it was nearly as funny as we did!! :dunno:

Wifes bra and panties. Tried putting nipple holes in the bra. Left side was off, told her her booby was a little lopsided.
Then I tried the panties.....tried to shot them crotchless.

She didnt find it too funny, when she got home and seen I'd hung them up in the side yard to shoot. Anybody who drives by can see the side yard......oooops i'm bad.

Full beer cans. My brother can get out of date cans from work at no charge. The blow up very well. Aersol cans. Assorted fruit and vegtables. We were shooting grapes with my AR and onions and grapefruits with the .44.

    Well

Used to take Flea foggers to the range and shoot them. They were ones that customers claimed didn't work. Amazingly enough no bugs afterwards.
Fill a box with empty spray paint cans, tape it shut, shoot through the box and then check to see what type of artwork had been created.

Well, I never claimed to be smart when I was younger but I used to lay on the ground and shoot up into the air at walnuts hanging in the trees with a 22. Used to try to see how long it would take to cut a tree in half with a 22. Wooden matches,{at 50 yds, couldnt ever light em but i could hit em} empty shotgun shells, yard sticks, paint cansl shoot at!d pieces of broken clay pigeons, pop bottle caps, just about anything I cou
