Back in 19 hundred and 86, at a place called Market Square Arena :rockwoot:I was 16 years old and saw IMO the greatest hairband ever, the Gods of Heavy Metal, Motley Crue. During "Shout At Devil" Tommy Lee was throwing his drumsticks out to the crowd. One of them bounced off a concert light and landed back on the stage, Nikki Sixx the bass player picked it up and started beating his guitar with it. He looked over and threw it in my direction, I reached up and caught it.

During that same concert the Crue filmed the music video "Wild Side"

I still have that drumstick. It is framed along with my concert ticket stub.

I saw Crue at Deer Creek Music Center before they renamed it, great show. Metallica put on a pretty good show with Queensryche at MSA as well. The best concert I ever attended was the Europe/Def Leppard show at the State Fairgrounds. It was pouring rain and Europe was afraid to play which was a bonus. They filled the time with a wet T shirt contest while they got Def Leppard set up to play. They played like their lives depended on it and it was a great show.

Saw Nickelback about 6 or 7 years ago at Conseco. They put on the most high energy show I think I've been to, it was great also but hard to compare to the others since it had been more than 10 years since I'd been to one.

I saw Def Leppard at the same show. The rain was great for the lets say the "blessed" women in the crowd. That was a great show. Metallica was also one of my favorites, Monsters Of Rock at the Hoosier Dome. I have always been an AC/DC fan, saw them three times. Hank Jr. puts on a good show, he can play every instrument on the stage, and boy can that man drink.

I saw AC/DC at market square when Back in Black first came out, it was great. Saw Pink Floyd once, what I remember of it was awesome. I have seen Rush maybe a dozen times, 5 times in the last few years, and the older those guys get, the better they are. Greatest band EVER! I'm going to see them again on April 5 at Yum center in Louisville, Row 2, right in front of the stage. I'm already PUMPED!!!:rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot:

Oh, I saw Van Halen once, it was the first tour with Sammy Hagar, and Bachmann Turner Overdrive opened up for them. Van Halen should have let BTO play the entire thing, they completely blew VH away.

I played a little show at "Zannies 2" at 10th and Arlington once. That was a blast. Had a woman, well I hope it was a woman throw her panties up on the stage. It looked like panties, maybe a tablecloth, they were kind of big.

I've only been to two concerts in my life but they were both memorable. In 2003, I saw KISS and Aerosmith. In 2008, I got to see Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd with an appearance from Rev. Run. Best two times of my life.

I was at the John Cougar Mellencamp concert in Bloomington when we almost collapsed the balcony.....mid '80s Concert was slightly above average, but my first. Authority Song got the crowd jumping and caused the balcony to drop a few inches....the next nights concert was nearly canceled for fear it may actually fall. Don't remember many of the shows I've attended but have heard a lot of stories about my alleged presence at several Grateful Dead shows at Deer Creek;)

Probably Tool's Lateralus tour at Deer Ditch(now known as Verizon).

It changed the way I look at/hear music.

Their Aenema tour at the same place changed it the first time.

After that, I'd have to say the "show" I saw this past with one of my favorite bands ever, Pentagram.

The show was way too short, because their lead guitarist recently quit without notice and they had to find a fill in, but he did great and after the show to apologize, Bobby Liebling(front man) stuck around to hang out with everyone there. I got to talk to him for awhile and get a bunch of pictures.

    Tough call

    Metallica's Load tour was amazing

Tool@ozzfest was one of the best experiences of my life

Offspring (surprisingly) at the Aragon Ballroom (very small venue) was up there too.

Seen Disturbed 3 times, would have to say that's been my favorite. Had a chance to see Collective Soul a couple years back, and that was awesome as well.
