    BASIC DEFENSIVE HANDGUN
    MONDAY, 1/16/17
    5:30 to 9:30PM

This class addresses the basic skills and information required to use a handgun safely and effectively as a self-defense tool. It is appropriate for those with limited or no experience with defensive handguns. This class covers safety, basic marksmanship, slow and rapid fire, loading/reloading/unloading, and basic malfunction clearing.

You may use your own handgun (encouraged), or borrow one of ours to use in the course at no additional charge.

This 4-hour class features both classroom and range components, and will be taught by our Senior Trainer, Tony Gregory. The class will be held at Indy Arms Company, 2550 E. 55th St., Indianapolis IN 46220.

Course fee is $129.95, and covers all costs except ammunition (approx. 200 rounds required), which may be purchased on-site if needed (students using our handguns must purchase our ammunition).

Students may register for the course in the shop, or online at https://www.indyarms.com/event/basic-defensive-handgun-4/

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Tony Gregory at 317-250-7531 or Email Tony.Gregory@indyarms.com.

    SEE YOU THERE!

Holster required? I'm guessing "no" since the course description says carrying and drawing are covered in another course.

Number of rounds of ammo required if you provide your own handgun?

Did you get the heat fixed in the classroom?

Correct; no holster is required for this basic-level class.

Round count may vary (some students may shoot a little more, some a little less), but plan on approximately 200 rounds. The OP has been edited to reflect this information.

Should be fine, but you might want to bring a coat just in case. :)
